Administrative units are for the government of islamic Republic of Pakistan to decide.

You can join a political party who cater to your aspirations.

Just want Pakistan to prosper and become what it should have become and sometimes you have think out of the box to make it happen.

No the common "stan" is the reason. It would also be beneficial to tone down the obvious. We all get it Pakistan is Muslim and for Muslims. No need to shove it down peoples throats.

We've given our souls to create and defend this name. It's our identity and we love our identity.

I know what you mean but these CARs are undesirables, nobodies. Why link in with them. Need something which will make Pakistan stand out from the rest. Right now when people think Pakistan they immediately think of Afghanistan and all the bad connections which come along with it.

Modern Pakistan has nothing do with Iran or Afghanistan. Even Bangladesh is a distant memory.
But we should try to use ancient names when naming stuff...like they should have called the new airport Gandhara...not Islamabad...this would reflect Pakistan’s ancient history

My parents moved to Pakistan during the partition and nearly died along the way. They lost friends and family. They did it for the territory. Everything else is fluid. Nobody is taking your identity, its enhancing it. Making it unique. Stand out from the rest.

I suggested Indus because of the Indus river which goes back to the start of Pakistani civilization with the Meluhhans. It has a historical and cultural significance.
Then Hindustan would sound better....Pakistanis should only use Hindustan to refer to the Subcontinent of India. When referring to the Republic of India, use Bharat or say Republic of India.

.
Islamic Republic of Indus?

The solution is well within the Box.

Changing the name to Whatever will Not make a difference.

Blowing a law and Order Problem of corruption to a full blown identity crisis is pretty harsh.

I know many members in this topic do not want to change the name of Pakistan.
Even though I agree that the name should stay the same, I have come up with one name (just for fun):

Daryadesh ~ Land of the River (Indus)

Unfortunately societal cohesion is multilayered and it begins with a singular identity which is grounded in local historical common ground. It starts from the name of the country.

Gandhara doesn’t sound well, while instead of Indus I will prefer “ Mughal” name due to old history. Taxila also sounds well for our country name.
Taxila sounds beautiful.

The identity of Pakistan caters to every psychological need its citizens crave. From Islamists to secularists both find their appeal in Pakistani identity.

Even fascists find a solace in the identity of Pakistan.

Who is he?
If I try the search function nothing comes up.

Exactly.
Now Introduce yourself
