Former chief minister of the Indian state of Goa and current Member of Parliament, Churchill Elimau, has said that if humans are punished for eating cow meat, why not lions? On the recent killing of four lions by the villagers in the assembly, Churchill said the villagers had killed the lions when they ate their animals, so my question is if the humans get punished by the tiger Why not get it? His laughter echoed in the assembly on which he said it was not a laugh but a very serious question that made him laugh again.

damn i didn't know even Tigers can be punished for eating cows! Its in south indian language. I guess Tigers will have to eat something else the pesky cats.

Some village idiots poisoned and killed a Tigress and her 3 cubs as "revenge" for them poaching their livestock.

The local police and authorities picked up a few suspects from the village in question.

He's either speaking in defence of those villagers for some local political reasons, or, very likely taking a potshot at the BJP for the cow thing.

He is a Christian/Catholic and ex congress guy.
