SIALKOT: Three armed burqa-clad sisters on Wednesday shot dead a man near Sialkot after accusing him of committing blasphemy 13 years ago.

Police managed to arrest the three suspects and identified them as Amna, Afshan and Razia.

The incident took place in Nangal Mirza village, Pasrur tehsil.

According to the police, the three women went to the house of Mazhar Hussain Syed, a faith healer, and asked him to pray for them. They also asked him if his son, Fazal Abbas, had returned from abroad. When told that he had returned from Belgium, they asked if they could see him. As soon as Abbas, 45, appeared before the women, they opened fire on him with the weapons they had brought with them secretly. Abbas died on the spot.

The women raised slogans in jubilation after his death, asserting that they had finally eliminated a blasphemer.

The women, in their statement to police, alleged that Abbas had committed blasphemy in 2004, but “we couldn’t kill him at the time because we were too young then”.

The police confirmed that they had registered a case against Abbas in 2004 under Section 295-C (use of derogatory remarks, etc., in respect of the Holy Prophet) of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Pasrur City station, but he fled abroad soon after.

The suspect had recently returned from abroad and promptly obtained pre-arrest bail from a local court.

The body was taken to the Pasrur Civil Hospital for autopsy.

You guys should remove this law as soon as possible and set a count down for it.

Banning this law wll give a message to the terrorists that they are alone and the state is against them.

. .
There has to be some other story. Possibly he refused one, or more, of them in marriage all these years ago, or misled them that he was going to marry them and took off abroad. That may be what these ladies meant by 'blasphemy'.

Doesn't add up.

This is exactily what happens when there is no law in society police prosecution other dept doesnt do their job. These girls have been waiting and waiting mean while law doesnt get up from its dead sleep.
Its alarming that people who suppose to implement law if they dont do their job then mob slowly start to taking over.
Politician can be easy target.

You will soon find it that they were used by likes of ISIS or Al Huda institute chances of HUT being involved are there as well. Noreen Laghari was picked up by ISIS i won't be surprised if they find ISIS is also behind this case.

Police clearly failed to arrest him upon his return.

Along with domestic organisations, international human rights organisations such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch publish reports[7] on acts of religious violence in India. Over 2005 to 2009 period, an average of 130 people died every year from communal violence, or about 0.01 deaths per 100,000 population. The state of Maharashtra reported the highest total number of religious violence related fatalities over that 5-year period, while Madhya Pradesh experienced the highest fatality rate per year per 100,000 population between 2005 and 2009.[8] Over 2012, a total of 97 people died across India from various riots related to religious violence.[9] The world's average annual death rate from intentional violence, in recent years, has been 7.9 per 100,000 people.[10] Wiki

Madness. Either the authorities revoke this law or make sure it is implemented correctly. Otherwise all we are doing is making mockery out of religion.
