3 killed, woman hurt amid clashes in Kashmir Srinagar:
Two youths were killed in government forces action in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday amid protests against the polling for Srinagar seat of Indian Parliament. A police officer said two civilians Faizan Ahmad Dar and Jan Muhammad Rather were killed in Dalwan village of Budgam district in central Kashmir. The area was under complete lockdown when the report was filed. A woman who could not be identified was wounded in government forces’ firing at Beerwah in Budgam. Reports of firing were also received from Nasrullah Pora in Budgam, Kashmir Dispatch team in Srinagar said. The government has shut the internet services in the region. “Besides clashes and protests are underway at scores of places in all three districts of Srinagar constituency. There is visible impact of boycott call,” the Srinagar team of Kashmir Dispatch noted.

Three people were killed and more than a dozen injured on Sunday when police clashed with protesters during a by-election in Srinagar in occupied Kashmir region.

Separatist factions in the disputed had called for a boycott of the by-polls, resulting in heightened security and low voter turnout when the polling began.

In Budgam district, police used tear gas to counter stone-pelting protesters, but was then forced to open fire, killing three people, a senior police said.

Overall, more than a dozen people were injured during the clashes across the region on Sunday, the official said.

Implementation of UN resolutions demanded

The by-election in Srinagar is being held to fill a vacant seat in the Lok Sabha, India’s lower house of Parliament. A second by-poll in the state for a separate Lok Sabha seat is set to take place on April 12 in Anantnag. The results of both polls are set to be announced on April 15.

The state has been in a phase of unrest since last year when Indian security forces killed insurgent leader Burhan Wani.

The violence since then, largely in the form of troops firing on civilian crowds with shotguns after protesters throw stones, has left 84 civilians dead and more than 12,000 civilians and security force personnel wounded.

India is using utmost force in Kashmir against mostly helpless protesters, at most responding with rocks. The rights violations should end but BJP government think Kashmiris are given benefits, a foolish stand but clearly describing the mentality of the Indian government. Kashmir can only be won with love and respect. In a situation like this special rights for kashmiris might not even win them over towards Bharat. Using force to destroy harmless protesters will only escalate the situation.

You should have told that to the lahore police in 2014 model town incident where they killed more than 14 " PAT stone pelters ".

indians last year killed hundreds. killed 94000 since 1989.
All of lahore police killers are in jails now. They are not given special powers to kill like indian army have.
and one thing more. just like you indians no one in Pakistan supported and tried to justify those killings and tried to compare them with IOK.

we have enough courage and awareness to say that it was wrong and the killers from police must be hanged.
