Xixi is a naughty/mischievous laugh, similar to "hehehe" in English.

About the breasts, that is "Mimi" in slang, that's probably what you meant.

Ach-so! Is there no other meaning for xixi then? I remember mimi and pigu quite well....also taught me tsau-ni-ma and ga-ni-mae(I'm not sure about the spellings though). :partay:

I guess you mean "Cao ni ma" and "Gan ni ma". (Cao is pronounced like Tsao).

Best one though is "Ta ma de", the universal swear word in Mandarin. Can be used in any situation for any reason, though it's not polite. :P

I was sure that I'd be making a mistake while writing. The way he explained Mandarin, the modulation and tonal variations are quite important in distinguishing between words that look similar on paper. :)

How does one say Ta ma de? same as what is written or should it be pronounced differently?

It sounds the same as it is written in this case, "Taahh mahhh duh".

Tā is 1st tone, so long and high. Mā is 1st tone, so long and high. De is no tone, so short and middle tone, ends quickly.

If you drop something on your toe, you can yell "Ta ma de!" instead of "shit" or "f*ck". :cheesy:

If you're angry at someone, you can say "Ni (you) Ta ma de!"

Thanks mate! Will use it on a few unsuspecting friends.:sarcastic:

The only problem with polandball is that it is too euro centric. Would be fun to have a more Asian polandball.
