At the very least I'd like to know why.. didn't get a notification for the banning or anything.

Besides, that thread is supposed to be a chill refuge where you can just shoot the breeze with others on random non heavy topics like politics, war and conflict etc so it is a little baffling. I generally know what subjects to stay away from and where to draw the line while commenting on this forum.
