57-year-old Robert Lewis Dear admitted killing 3 people at a Planned Parenthood, Dylann Roof, a white supremacist, murdered 9 African American as a result of Charleston Church mass shooting and then the Austin bomber Anthony Conditt – the media had countless names for them from mentally upset to suffering from depression to what not.

But, there was one word that media despite the killing of hundreds of people are afraid to call them and that is terrorist. It seems like the term has been only specified if your skin is brown or you’re a Muslim. It’s ironic that if the attacker has the religious affiliation to Islam, the topic of mental health never comes under question and the entire Muslim community living in these heterogeneous ‘’liberal’’ societies suffer from extreme labels like extremists and terrorists.

We don’t need to dive deeper into the history to discover examples. Let’s just go one day back on March 21st, when 23-year-old Mark Anthony terrorized the city of Austin when explosions, killing two and injuring several. But, soon after it, media along with condemning the incident labelled Anthony as mentally challenged.

The authorities and media purposefully avoid using the word terrorist for white people and instead always have justifications for these horrifying acts, calling them frustrated due to problems in their own life.

It is concerning that these advocates and apparent world leaders of human rights are scared to use the label for their homegrown terrorists while will slap it on a Muslim or a black man without thinking twice. As writer and producer David Simon said that it’s his wish to once listen mainstream media calling confession of a Muslim or black suspect to crime as ‘’the outcry of a very challenged young man, talking about challenges that led him to this point’’ before death.

. . . .
And why do we want them to realise they have a problem? let them kill themselves, it's a punishment for their hypocrisy

A white male/female cant be a terrorist .. he/she can only be a lone wolf or mentally disturbed person

It's not that whether they realize the problem or not. The argument is about the narrative. Usually when it's a white person who does these things, the narrative in the media is that he/she was a mentally disturbed person...and things like gun control and background checks are discussed. They don't use the term like terrorist nor is it linked with his/her religion. In contrast if the person doing those actions happens to be a Muslim then he/she is termed a terrorist and fear mongering begins. The problem isn't then limited to that person and his/her actions...instead then the religion is linked. He/she is termed "Islamist terrorist"...and the whole thing is scaled up as a bigger problem facing the world. This leads to stereotypes and racism towards middle eastern ppl and Muslims in general.

timothy mcveigh was called a terrorist and executed. Eric Rudolph was called a terrorist.

Muslim community has its problems. Deal with it head on. Otherwise others will deal with your problems in a manner they seem fit.

Yea. He was a young man with many challenges right? Quiet and nerdy from a godly family.

But not a terrorist. No sign of terrorism or hate according to the Austin police chief.

Timothy McVeigh and Eric Rudolph were called terrorists. They were captured alive and profiled. In this case the guy is dead. It has been a few days. You have to give investigators time to piece together the whole story. It is not like Austin police chief has the last word on this.

If you are mad at the categorization of the Muslim criminals you have to clean up your own community or set an alternative example. A lot of folks - Irish and Italians had to beat the stereotypes in America

Stupid article.

Everyone knows you have to be moslem as a prerequiste for being called terrorist.

This is just a case of road rage or side effects of medication.

Sir G, you are so wise that you could see only Muslim community, it would be really wise if you also do some homework on Hindu community and leave aside Muslims.

And they give us sermons on the theory of Good Taliban vs. Bad Taliban but practice the same in their own country good (white) citizens vs. bad (Black) citizens............let them ignore/encourage white snakes in their own home
