"This is not your bloody area"

Exactly.

It is obvious which side is being belligerent from watching that video.

Ironically, it is the vastly weaker Indian side that is looking for a fight.

And when you're looking for a fight, you're guaranteed to find one eventually.

A situation like that is a tinderbox.

We weren't created by Britain like India was, so we don't have English as our national link language like India has.

Our national link language is Chinese. Not a Western European language.

Yup, the Indians feel proud by winning in a.....shouting match.

If at least 10 indians criticize u on ur posts shows that a self introspection is really required from your side.

right or wrong doesn't depend on how many ideological opponents one has... if that was so, i shouldn't be a socialist in today's india at all... in fact, when did socialism enjoy as much spread in india as the other streams??

dictatorship of the majority is still a dictatorship.

huzoor, also please stop your hate preach on some threads

janaab e waala, hate is something i don't excel in... thing is, you are looking at me with saffron-tinted glasses... the hate is all on your side.

Your kind is not too different either from what I've seen. And I'm yet to see one feeling proud about this incident, may be you have got some special vision or something which we do not posses and that's why we don't see it.

This type of stuff seems fairly common along the Indo-Tibet LoC. I remember a few months ago, a similar intrusion happened along another portion (seemed like Arunachal), and in that case , Our guys were behind a sort of rock wall and they were trying to dismantle the wall forcefully, the argument was waaaaay more heated, atleast this one is a bit amicable.

Anyway this just so much better than the other Indo-Pak LoC, where people keep dying.
Here...

Reminds me of the Nathula incident or sometimes refereed to as the Chola incident in 1967 which started the same way and ended up with the Chinese getting pasted by the Indian Army where 300 Chinese soldiers were killed and 450 seriously wounded and dozens of their gun positions and pillboxes destroyed.

By the way, why do both sides film what is going on? In both clips, both sides have soldiers filming with their mobile phones.

Is this for evidence of who threw the first punch/shot should things go bad?

For who? International court? UN? Flag meetings?

Buddy when i criticize u, u labeled me as 'Sanghi' which i don't have any problem. So if some one criticize u,u label him as hindu fundamentalist that itself is a hate preach.

likely the phone cameras prevented degeneration

sure, but it has to be a concrete, fixed and general agreement, yes??

this scene just seemed chaotic.

That would be a perfect scenario. Unless, things are written down in paper, it will be chaotic. The important thing is firing. As long as there is no firing things will keep going on like this till the ink is on the paper.

No one was looking for a fight,it's just that the Indian site was feeling anxious because your side brought a fuckking company sized detachment to patrol the area, which is totally on the contrary to the established norm.Basically, you are just trying to find bogeyman where there is none.
And I don't think we are 'vastly weaker' as you like to rant all the time.Sure you have got more numerous mechanized forces but terrain around the LAC can barely handle such heavy vehicles.Besides, you need to cater for your northern and eastern fronts too, where the terrain is actually fit for such warfare. But in the India-China context, the ground war will be limited to mostly large scale infantry engagements due to the nature of the terrain. So save your theories for someone who hasn't visited the northern and north eastern frontiers.

We weren't created by Britain like India was, so we don't have English as our national link language like India has.
Was that supposed to be an insult, cause if that was the intention you failed miserably. The fact is,English is the defacto universal language and that's why we are taught to speak in passable English,so that we can at least communicate with the others. It's the established norm everywhere around the world.Just because we are taught this particular language, doesn't mean we use to communicate among ourselves, unless absolutely necessary.

And ours is Hindi,I thought you already knew that.

Flag meetings.

Two things I can immediately make out from these clips as a lay person.

This low level conflict between two giants is about manpower and money. Logistics follow.

If you cannot fire a shot, you have to prevent the other guy from getting entrenched further and further.

Because once he does, you cannot push him back. You either push into his area somewhere else, or you wait for weather or transfers or absence or patrolling schedules and push back and recover lost ground.

This is a never ending game.

And looking at the size of the border, it requires huge manpower, and significant money. To ensure 24x7, 365 coverage and vigil.

This is one massive glorified Parsi bungalow low-life land shark land grab.

The Chinese army officer was trying to diffuse the situation, but the Indian officer was almost yelling. He should have responded to him politely.

regards

Like I said before,he got a little bit anxious due to the larger than usual concentration of troops from the PLA side.

He was really anxious, but it could have ruined the situation.
