Pakistan had only completed 1 point in Jan 2019.
That has risen to 21.

Only 6 partially addressed points left.

Pakiatan will probably complete at least 4 of them by Feb 2021.

This will warrant an on-site visit by the FATF time sometime between Feb and April.

Then Pakistan will come out of the grey list in June.

If Pakistan lags behind a bit, instead of June, we'll come out of the grey list by Oct 2021.

This is how it'll play it.

FATF is dirty game and tool of US . but its good for forcing our looters to fix system .

I agree with you

But I think it's been largely positive for us, even if it's being used as a tool I genuinely think it has helped us try to control corruption and money laundering and bring in laws our politicians would never have allowed us to bring in otherwise

It is about time to put India in gray list or we go for International court against FATF

exactly sir they are forcing our looters to sign laws which they did not willing to sign . its means we as a nation benefited from it . hope they force us to do electronic banking and digital transactions too .

Apart from FATF they have no other stick against Pakistan. They depend on Pakistan in Afghanistan. They have now also discovered that Pakistan indeed has options. China Pakistan relations are blossoming. Initially, the taunt used to be that China would never invest nor trade with Pakistan. That taunt has now turned into a nightmare.

Keeping Pakistan on the grey list is the only blackmail/threat they have. The problem is that once peace is achieved in Afghanistan the Western powers have no other reason to blackmail Pakistan. Yes, they don't approve CPEC and relations with China, but that cannot serve as a reason to continuously keep Pakistan hostage. Eventually the Western powers are going to have to take Pakistan off the list. Keeping Pakistan on the grey list despite Pakistan's best efforts and intentions is going to backfire. If the Western powers don't oblige, this will remain a big irritant and further deteriorate the relations. Pakistan is cooperative for now. This can change very quickly if the Western powers continue to agitate.

The Western world had written Pakistan completely off. Their efforts to isolate and punish Pakistan is unachievable. They didn't realise how resilient Pakistan is. They will continue to fan the flames of sectarianism through PTM and BLA, but that is very limited clout they possess. Pakistan can deal very effectively with PTM and BLA.

This is all political game. Look at KSA who is responsible of 911 is now member of FATF. India which burn down Kashmir and took away Muslim rights, Israel's daily violation of human rights since its creation ........ So, this is all political game.

fatf no matter how evil is a blessing in disguise for Pakistan hopefully it will stop hawala and money laundering and money will stay in Pakistan and spend on local economy!

They wanted Pakistan to accept Israel, we showed a middle finger instead. PM khan actually mentioned this a month ago in a tv interview to Journalist Imran Khan that there has been a lot of pressure to recognize israel, since we did not hence we will continue to be in the list.
I say **** Israel and let us be in the list. We are bringing our system on par with that of other countries since it benefits us. We cannot be blacklisted since have required votes from friendly countries.
Next time no need to even go in FATF. Just email them the copy of what is done and tell them to shove it or display it on some french news paper for all we care.

.
Well no surprise here. If today Pakistan accepts Israel then be assured that tomorrow Pakistan will be out of all kind of grey or black list. This is how it works.

according to surah maida any one except israel will be with them on day of judgment no longer Muslim,
