Is it logical a Greek going to tell if Chinese love their country or not.. funny right?
The average income in greece is 16.000 €. The average income in china is 4800 $. Which means the income in Greece is 4 times higher than in China. China has extreme poverty on unimaginable levels, China has internal problems in some of the annexed provinces. I would rather want to be dead than have to live in China.
So as long Greece has a higher standard of income, living standards and freedom, we definitly are qualified to judge a dictatorship.
Greece has very high living standards, standards that China has not achieved yet.
China knows no individual freedom, executes thousands of people each year and follows opressive and tyrannical practices in its politics.
A country that has no trust in its own people.
Alright SanjayWell, if you don't show love, police come to put you in jail. @aziqbal
China’s gdp per capita on the whole is at $12,000 now. It’s large cities probably average $20,000 to $30,000. China’s urban areas are much richer and more developed than Greece. Greece is like a sleepy little village, you can’t compare it to dynamic cities like Shanghai or Shenzhen or even Chengdu or Nanjing. We love our country but you should know, logic is a core value of greek identity. It is not logical to be a fanatical moron. Those chinese in the video dont love their country, they feel insignificant, weak and tiny and such shows stabilize their little ego. Its quite sad actually.

His whole idea is that poor countries adopting 'vibrant democracies' lead to 1st world living standards, forgetting poorer 'democracies' like India, Philippines etc are far behind China(They're authoritarian anyway). I am believer(realist?) that countries and territories that start out extremely poor and want to try to improve material conditions are more authoritarian early on then later. E.g SK, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, HK etc.Alright Sanjay

Your image of China is stuck in 2010. It’s actually eradicated extreme poverty since then and it’s cities are more developed, safer with far more advanced infrastructure than the west. Don’t believe me? Take a look yourself, you won’t see this on CNN.We love our country but you should know, logic is a core value of greek identity. It is not logical to be a fanatical moron. Nearly all developed countries industrialized and developed during a period when they were authoritarian states. This includes all of the major western empires. Even the US only had its democracy limited to landed white men for most of its history. His whole idea is that poor countries adopting 'vibrant democracies' lead to 1st world living standards, forgetting poorer 'democracies' like India, Philippines etc are far behind China(They're authoritarian anyway). It's hard to have a 'vibrant democracy' when the institutions are corrupt as hell due to being poor! That's not to say authoritarianism will help all the time, no, it's how a country can effectively utilise it before democratisation.
Average income?
1, Made-in-China are everywhere. Where are Made-in-Greece?
2, China's top acdemic papers are No.2 in quality and No.1 in quantity.
3, China leads the world in 5G, AI, Quantum technology, high speed trains....... Greece only has sea transport and tourism industry.
4, China is world biggest creditor meanwhile Greece is one of PIGS that need Gernamy's aids
5, Everyone knows Greece GDP was fabricated for joining in EU. China as the world factory supplies all kinds of goods to domestic market with price much cheaper than overseas makets.
6, China and Russia are the only two countries in the world US dares not to use military way to challenge. Greece is afraid of Turkey's invasion.
7, Nobody cares what happened in Greece while US president can not talk without mentioning China. Unlike China, Greece has no international influence.
Damn. I even don't know why I wasted my time comparing China with Greece.

Vs Athens, quaint but sleepy
Look I have a lot of respect for Greece and it’s history but you come here insulting Chinese people who you know little about besides the anti China propaganda you’ve been fed with.

China no longer has extreme poverty, it’s made a lot of progress in eradicating extreme rural poverty widely.Yet, China has unimaginable high poverty.
How am i insulting chinese people when i say that i could not live under a dictatorship?

Its your tone, attitude and citing outdated and inaccurate facts.
Take a look yourself, you won’t see this on CNN.

China is nowhere as poor as you think and it has far more wealth than you think. You can think what you want but your opinions are shaped by a lot of inaccurate and politically motivated information that does not reflect the reality on the ground. For european standards, China still has alot of extreme poverty.
My tone is how we speak. We say openly what we think here. As i said, i could not imagine to live there, because it feels like a prison. Its simply not compatible with our way of thinking.
Yeah so like I said, it’s like a quaint village in comparison to Shenzhen. I was illustrating a comparison of the overall dynamism which can’t be compared. Each to their own, but to me Athens doesn't look inferior to Shenzhen in the videos you posted. Shenzhen has more advance infrastructures and cleaner/greener streets, but Athens has lower population density and slower pace of life. Athens is also likely have more affordable and spacious housing than Shenzhen as well.

I find it quite sad actually, because i think how much old architecture was destroyed to build those glass things.
I will agree to that although Shenzhen is only forty years old. It is a new city and is China’s Silicon Valley.Well the difference is, Athens has a soul, Shenzhen has not. Its alot like Dubai, like a big glass mall. There simply is nothing outstanding. I find it quite sad actually, because i think how much old architecture was destroyed to build those glass things.
I’d much rather live in Kuala Lumpur than Melbourne to be honest. Although China’s cities are more developed than Southeast Asia’s or Australia’s even in terms of infrastructure.Well, KL and Bangkok also feels more dynamic than Melbourne to me.
Different population density, different culture, different way of living.
Shenzhen is built from scratch, it doesn't have much old architecture unlike Beijing lol.
