Abdullah Qureshi is a self-taught singer/musician based out of Islamabad. After watching the Coke Studio rendition of AfreenAfreen, he decided to upload his own cover and pay tribute to the real King Khan (sorry Shahrukh).

A humble message from Abdullah, “No comparisons please. Khan Saab will always be the King!”

But people are always entitled to their opinions

Sorry Coke Studio but Abdullah Qureshi's cover of Afreen Afreen is way better than that of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Momina Mustehsan

Could we possibly see Abdullah on Coke Studio next season?
Time will tell, but if you’re interested in listening to more of his music, you’ll find it all on Patari or his YouTube channel.
Random fact: Abdullah’s apparently very specific about his burgers. The kind you eat, we couldn’t really get a word about the other kind.

In case you haven’t heard the Coke Studio version of Afreen Afreen that Abdullah (and many others) weren’t completely satisfied with, here it is for you to decide.

Oh and of course, here’s the original from theUstad himself.
So, what are your thoughts?

Are you serious ................. this young guy may have the talent but he needs lessons and lots of gayan.

LOL Express Tribune and it's cheap antics to diss CokeStudio . I guess ET failed to secure some promotional funding's from Coca-Cola and has embarked on this b!tching path to find it's way. At first they tried to reflect that Rahat's Afreen Afreen was a flop by using few Tweets from pseudo music experts as their source and now this kid's singing is being compared to Rahat's

ET is literally the worst newspaper in the World .

More proof that he needs lessons, Aetbar sung by JJ and this guy no match masair no match.
Well he is not at JJ,s level and i dont think he can be but he is better than a lot of singers in this edition of coke studio

Coke 9 is not as good as it ised to be.. misha shafi sud find another job she is almost in every coke studio after jugni..
There are alot of other people too who sud be part of it then again and again new faces.
Level start going down from 7.

the song in itself awesome, however I think, its the lyrics and the voice of ustad nusrat fa Khan made it great.
to rate among these two, I would vote for the lyrics.....not because I m an indian but because I love Urdu very much (with whatever understanding I have of this language, by Urdu I don't mean sanskritised hindi.).
