This Breaking Bad Themed Cafe In Islamabad Is A Must Visit For All The Heisenberg Fans!

Themed cafes in Pakistan are rising day by day – with foodies showing their massive interest in English seasons, entrepreneurs are putting their creative minds in the launching of themed cafes, attracting masses based on the theme and food appeal. Following the amazing idea, Islamabad houses yet another theme cafe based on the AMC’s hit American drama, Breaking Bad.

While talking to Parhlo, the Heisenberg Cafe owners shared their stories and told us the hurdles they went through.
“Opening a themed café is not a single man’s job. It requires persistence, late-night efforts, energy and of course time. Being a student and a one year graduate as a partner, time management was one hell of a job. Attending university and office in the day and then all the preparations, was the biggest challenge.
We can now proudly say that we have made this empire by putting stone over stone, brick over brick! Being an Electrical Engineer graduate & a computer science student as a partner, we have invested our blood in this lab to come up with the best of chemicals and crystals.”
HOW DID THEY COME UP WITH THE IDEA OF HEISENBERG CAFE
“Back in the days, I was so bad in chemistry that I hardly passed my chemistry’s board exam. Somehow, after watching Breaking Bad, I had an urge to be a chemist. But obviously, it was too late. I was half way through my CS degree and the least I could do was to open up the cafe in which we could cook in the yellow hazmat suits.” – said one of the owners.
“I still remember the time when I used to bunk chemistry classes in 10th grade. I failed twice and my school didn’t send my registration to the board examinations. A pity moment for my parents and yet a big blow in my life. Time heals everything and I entered the university running away from the chemicals. That’s where I watched ‘Breaking Bad’ which made me fall in love with the same chemistry I used to run from.” said the other owner.

THEY ARE NOT EVEN 23 YEARS OLD YET!
“All of us are under 23 and we do have the limited budget at the moment. People are expecting a lot from us and that’s the only reason of our delay. We want to give them 99.8 % pure and delicious food. Spare us the 0.2% like they spared the magician of crystal Heisenberg himself.”

“Providing such a spot where people can spend a quality time from their busy lives, which can make them fall in love with Chemistry with some appetizing food to offer. An idea that always stayed in our background bugged us continuously and lead us to make our very own lab. Somehow, we found our master chef who somehow looks like Jesse and voila, cooks like Walter.”
THE TEAM ALSO HAD SOME THANKING TO DO
“And none of this would have been possible without the support of our family and friends. First of all Talha Ghori, who was there to help us the whole time. Hamza Akram, whose creative ideas can be seen in our menu and periodic table. Shahnoor Tariq, who played a great role in our graphic designing part and our mega ceiling art. Talha and Moiz, who were there to help us with their camera works and ideas. Junaid Razzaq, who was our little mentor as always and Inam whose house is mostly used as our god own.”

While the idea itself sounds as amazing as the decor of the cafe, we wish Heisenberg Cafe all the best of luck for the future. As Jesse Pinkman said, “Rock On, Bitch!!”
