As expected the Taliban has distanced itself from the Indian sponsored TTP.
Meanwhile, the Taliban are to conduct mopping up operations along with the border areas, starting from Khost.
From the last 10 years. We have listened everything the west has thrown at us. Their toungue didn't stop blaming us for the haqqani (the west has forgetten the very name, after the op ed piece by sirajuddin haqqani in newyork times).
The internal people also started blaming our support for the taliban. Often taking advantage of the ignorance of the people who are unable to diffrenciate between the ttp and the afghan taliban.
So our intelligence ingencies took all of the criticism. But still supports the taliban.
There might be some reason for that and some gurantees involved. Atleast I hope there are. And it would be for nothing.
We know that very well.
But the issue is that would taliban be able to control them. They would have the same excuse, we lack the capacity and stuff.
By the way all these twitter accountw reporting killing of terrorist of terror activities. Are they of any worth.
I certainly don't believe unless I see a dead body.

Yes I congratulate you and myself for achieving a more favourable, less violent (for us atleast) Afghanistan.
And having a major role in managing it.
But that doesn't mean taliban are something to be admired.
They serves our purpose in Afghanistan that's why we supports them.
Not because of some ideology.
Holding and gun and asking, do you feel free. I don't need this kind of freedom and ideology in my country.
