The "violent" moments of Long March 2F Y14 liftoff that you'd love to see

. .
@siegecrossbow curious which launch vehicles have China used for manned space launch so far besides the LongMarch 2 series?

. . . .
It is an old and proven rocket with good safety record. Shenzhou series are not heavy. LM-2 is sufficient.

Curious the fuel Unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine has Soviet origin but considering Soviet- China relations in 70s I don’t think the Chinese acquired the technology from Russia. What is the Chinese origin story of this fuel? How do the Chinese handle unspent propellants? The fuel is highly toxic, any unused propellant that returns to earth with the expendable stage upon impact with ground can create real environmental issues.

UDMH is believed to undergo rapid environmental degradation, however, the transformation products can persist in dry soils, like those found in Kazakhstan, lasting up to 34 years (UNDP, 2004). An examination of soils in Kazakhstan found many were contaminated with a toxic compound, 1-methyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole (MTA; a product of reactions with UDMH), at concentrations of up to 100 mg kg−1 (Kenessov et al., 2008).
