It's inevitable to strengthen your army. You abandon your army, you pay them low then expect them run away from battles and at least get disappointed and lose their fate in the country. The best way for Pakistan is indiginizing military industries. That way you wouldn't have to pay lots of money for a military hardware, on the other hand you'd pay for Pakistani made stuff in Rupee to your own workers and engineers and then that money will be recycled into Pakistani economy through tax and internal expenditures.

Mashallah that's good. I'm in QA myself. I hope one day to have a company winning contracts in the UK, US, EU and getting specialist testers doing the work in Pakistan.

Not just manual testing but pen testing, load and performance, automation, setting up CI pipelines, consultancy on end to end QA - a high value service. That's the pipe dream anyway.

We need more people like you in Pakistan. Educated, innovative and hardworking.

Thats how it is counted. For war u need a good healthy economy . How is GDP going to grow is the military is taking more money and leaving us less money for health , education , infrastructure? War is not done with empty bank balances.

Have you counted what is the percentage of defence budget with regards to total budget? first go get those figures & then come here & tell me weather military is taking all the budget. it is 17.66% which is Rs 1227 billion for a country which has active war on terrorism plus multiple wars to fight at borders. Your defence budget should be 3x of your current budge.much smaller countries have more budget than your country.The reason for all this is decades of political mismanagement& looting.
