We have all heard Imran Khan praise his "team" on numerous occasions, without brining their names to people' attention. The naysayers have always used this against the PTI and have labelled it a one man army. With a little bit of effort I was able to dig up some of the PTI's torch bearers. I would ask everyone to keenly analyze their resume, and offer( if any) positive, well directed and constructive criticism.

Anyone with any other info regarding the PTI team is also welcome to add to the thread.

SPOKESPERSON FOR HEALTH CARE:
Dr. Hamayun Mohmand

Email: humayunmohmand@hotmail.com
Dr. Mohammad Humayun Mohmand born on June 04, 1965 is currently serving as Central Spokes Person Health for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. He has done his bachelors in Medicine and Surgery from Ayub Medical College Abbottabad, Pakistan. His hard work has earned him FRCS degree from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He started off his career in UK hospitals by serving in many Plastic and Burns Units. He couldn’t resist his patriotism for long and he has decided to devote his career and himself for his nation.

He moved back to Pakistan in 2000 only to serve his nation by bringing in new technology and entrepreneurship. In Pakistan he started as Consultant Hair Transplant Surgeon from 2000 to 2005 in a private clinic. From October 2005 he resigned and ultimately started with his own Institute as Dr. Humayun’s Hair Transplant Institute.

In short duration his hard work has made him a Life Member Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons, Member American Association of Plastic Surgeon. He is a faculty member of Orlando Live Surgery Workshop USA as well as Faculty Member International Society of Hair Restorative Surgery USA. Again earning much recognition on national and international level in the country making him an internationally known, well written and well reputed plastic surgeon.

Embracing an excellent repute on International level, a true patriot at heart always believed in extending the medical services to all the people in Pakistan. He has been actively involved in bringing Medical Tourism to Pakistan. His idea of justice in health care system has made him join PTI about two years back, but ideologically he was always a believer in justice system. Since he does not have any political background but he believes that in order to purge the current system of non-governance, more and more professionals and people with good governing skills should be taking active part in politics.

After joining the party in 2008, he was given the task to organise and work in the health policy and identify the areas of health services and problems. In 2010 he was also assigned the task of finding the solution to these problems. By September 2010, he also took upon himself another task of organising the PTI basic party structure, by training the Regional, Provincial and Union Council Coordinators at grass root level.

He has been building up their motivational skills. He has been nominated as the secretary of International Chapter Affairs. Furthermore, he has been included a member of Central Executive Committee.

He has a proven ability to organize a health care facility and is recognized for ability to work with very diverse clients and staff. An out-going personality and quick thinker with extremely flexible ability to function under chaotic situations.

He has been actively participating in arranging press conferences, appearing for media interviews covering major cities, and corresponding with individuals and groups on behalf of PTI.

He believes in a concept of welfare system of governance where minimum essential medical services and minimum essential medics should be accessible to 100% of population, rather than what is happening today where only 26% of population enjoy that facility.

He is a hardworking professional who is willing to go to any lengths to help his country to re-establish. He has excellent communication skills and tremendous convincing power to assure others of the party’s policies, strategies and knows what stand to take in order to manifest a positive public image of his political party.

When and why did I join PTI:
I have spent 32 years of my life with Islami Jamiat-e-Talba as Nazim-e-Alla Pakistan and Deputy Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan but role of religious parties since 1999 in the politics of Pakistan has not been positive, so I decided to leave.
The truthful stand of Chairman Imran Khan inspired me to join PTI so I joined PTI in September 2007 as Central Vice President.

What do I want to do for PTI:
I started my political career from grass root and was elected as Councilor / Nazim of local Government three times. I have served as Deputy Mayor Lahore Metropolitan Corporation for one term, I also contested as MPA and MNA from my area and served a party which is known as the most organized party in Pakistan. So my interest is to organize PTI at all levels and make it a big political party, motivate and activate in all walks of life especially youth and students. So I conceived the idea of Insaf Student Federation and put it before CEC where it was decided that a student body should be launched under my supervision. The Insaf Students Federation has been introduced in almost all educational institutions and cities of Pakistan within last couple of months. Now our goal is to make a strong students organization.
ISF shall be the vanguard and the nursery of PTI.

You are right. I doubt that any other political party would have such people under its wings.

.
Good Job..

Now you only have to convince the common man.. of only 104 Districts.. and trust me if you plan well you might get more then 25% of seats, in all the houses.. See if you can highlight issues in every District.. And i didnt see any one for Media and Communication whos running that Department.. Thats the most important image building Department.. Never throw a loose ball..

.
My goodness, even i m surprized. That is some great team and if this team is given the go ago i can clearly claim that they can do wonders for Pakistan. Look at their achivements and then compare it with people like jamsheed dasti and others of present government. Great team indeed. Allah Nazar-e -bad se bachaye, Ameen.

.
You are right Jawad, we really have to pull up our socks now and tirelessly work to maneuver things in the right direction. Those who cry foul and criticise, neither turn out to cast their vote nor are willing to come out on the streets. Drones and Raymond Davis will continue to happen and the Pakistani establishment continue to play to the familiar tune.

Your concern about media & communication head is valid, I could not find a justice head as well but I am sure that people just as intelligent and dedicated as these are in the party and will surface with the passage of the time. Intelligentsia is the most important class of the society that you need on your side to mold the public opinion in your favor. With the likes of Justice Wajihuddin and the above mentioned people flocking to join PTI, we can safely assume that we are catching their attention.

^^^ This is what we can and should do at the very grass root level. each and everyone of us can be a Provincial Constituency Organizer. We need to motivate people and get them going at the very basic level. Organizing corner meetings at the neighborhood/mahala level is a very effective way of communicating with the masses and understanding their problems.
