Consuming art doesn't make one a loser. Art has a huge role in shaping me into the man that I am today. Also, what monster would tell a beginner like you to learn PHP?Virus mian is right here. I actually like electrical stuff a lot, thought I hated studying physics so I went with ICS (Statistics) in College. There's a difference between studying and learning. I absolutely enjoyed learning about physics and even mathematics. But studying for exams put me off of physics.
As for coding. I am kinda good at coding and I like it. But, I didn't find my calling, it found me. I was looking for a job during my studies and someone told me to do PHP and I started PHP. Otherwise I prolly would have kept playing video games and not have any marketable skill today, and be a total loser today as opposed to semi-loser like now. I am a Lakeer ka fakeer type banda. Dumb as a brick. If I had a creative thought in my head, it would die of loneliness.
Video games literally made me too. Specifically, one outshines all the others. Age of Empires (that's why I was surprised when so many people found that AOE reference funny). It got me interested in history, which got me into reading Urdu history fiction. Switched to English soon enough and I can unequivocally say that English proficiency has been my single most valuable asset thru my educations and esp exams. I'd study something once, understand it relatively effortlessly and never have to cram it since I could write answer from whatever little I remembered (bad memory) and my prior understanding.Consuming art doesn't make one a loser. A guy who did small time IT stuff and was monitoring our uni exams on a contractual basis. Basically another loser like me. But at least, I won't tell beginners to start with PHP. Also, what monster would tell a beginner like you to learn PHP?
Yes, I like coding. I am not visually creative but I like problem solving. Therefore coding is It's my kind of creative.@Drexluddin Khan Spiveyzai Do you have any passion for web development?
@ThunderCat I stand by my opinion. According to the sounds from this video, it doesn't like German to me. What do you think? It sounds more like a fusion of Russian and Balkan languages with a bit of Iberian flair(Spanish & Portuguese). As someone who studied a little bit of German, this doesn't sound like German to me.
most passionate artists, musicians, dancers, actors (regular ones, not established ones) still "starve"If I had a passion for art, I'd have starved
In that case, why not explore machine learning and robotics? No harm in exploring right?Yes, I like coding. I am not visually creative but I like problem solving. Therefore coding is It's my kind of creative.
I still love electrical stuff a lot but it's not as easy to learn on one's own, like I did with programming and most everything else. Also, takes more resources. Programming on the other hand, was very accessible and free to learn.
I also like that it's marketable. I like practical stuff. If I had a passion for art, I'd have starved
Wtf is going on today? Who are you? What have you done to -=virus=-?most passionate artists, musicians, dancers, actors (regular ones, not established ones) still "starve"
That's a good idea, I won't dispute that. But, I am the kind of guy that's been sitting on making his freelance profile (left the job last month) because I have too much work right now and I want to do that first. Even though I know once all this work is finished, I won't have more of it unless I make that profile now. In short, I can't pay attention to two things at once. Lakeer ka fakeer, like I said.In that case, why not explore machine learning and robotics? No harm in exploring right?
Same.Wtf is going on today? Who are you? What have you done to -=virus=-?
lasted/survived a full 10+ years here, 15 (more like, lost a few good men) .. actually 4reals not here to troll.Wtf is going on today? Who are you? What have you done to -=virus=-?
stay frosty, comradeot tired of his online persona and is letting the wholesome part show.
React now looks already old with VueJS that has now come up. In fact, many people are skipping React to directly learn Vue. It's quite similar to React so it's not like it's a completely different frontend framework.Planning to get some proper skills under my belt, like React but can never commit due to work. I've started learning it 4 times during the last 1.5 years but couldn't continue every single time.
It's hard when you are doing one thing for a living and learning another on the side. If I got a menial job working in React today, I'd learn it fast, but I happen to like the money I am making with Shopify.
Truth be told, bro. my first priority right now is to fix my sleep schedule and get some morning walk. I am becoming a couch potato (working from home). I don't know but I think many programmers can relate.React now looks already old with VueJS that has now come up. In fact, many people are skipping React to directly learn Vue. Angular is another one of the frameworks which is quite in demand currently but you would find it slightly more complex than React. However, it uses an architecture similar to Redux.
Try to set up some time everyday for additional learning, they aren't too difficult to learn if you just give time.
Perhaps @ThunderCat can shed some light on this topic.
My sleep schedule is messed up due to my university. You seem to have relegated yourself into becoming just a cog in a machine for the company you are working for. Due to some financial freedom, I have the luxury to acquire knowledge and explore the areas that interest me.Truth be told, bro. my first priority right now is to fix my sleep schedule and get some morning walk. @_NOBODY_ , been there?
