A backdoor is fine as a precaution for the S-400 firing on Russian aircraft one day. But if Russia does secret dealings with the US/Europe and it stops working against their aircraft, then we've got a major problem. That said, I don't think Russia can afford such a bad rep vis-a-vis its weapon exports with oil prices in freefall.
