What the remotest town sitting on China-India border is like in south Tibet today, the last town being connected with the rest of China with roads barely a decade ago, cause the roads need to climb over the mighty Himalaya's from the northern side to the southern side, an unimaginable engineering feat in the past.

Today's Medog county

Nyingchi and Medog are the only regions where Bengal tigers still roam around the surrounding mountains in China's south Tibet.

Stunning aerial view of Medog in China's Tibet, China's last "roadless" county

I wonder what Indian side looks like across the border in this region, they always accuse China of oppressing and persecuting Tibetans and Uighurs, I would like to see how those who are not being oppressed and persecuted live in India.

Solo girl traveler visits a local Tibetan herdsman's house deep in the Himalayas, she was surprised to find that cows and family actually live together in a 4 storey family house, life is simple for the herdman's family yet the family still owns more than one cars.

Good job but nothing spectacular considering that the Himalayas are on our side and your are building on your plateau.

How is life and development level on your side of the border?
Sedate amongst serene surroundings without the toxic influence of the Hans and the abhorrence of communism. Ancestral/Traditional way of life that no colonial Han force can interfere with. People have entire hills as their personal property in some cases. Paradise.
