You are trying very hard to salvage something out of very obvious. Firstly go through the link you posted and see how many INDIAN ARMY losses have actually been mentioned in the 55 years of the database, and the subject does belong to the IA.The chopper was on display since October 1997, there was no Chetak lost near Loc around that time and absolutely no news of pilots being captured by Pakistan in that time time period.(1993-1997)
There are no records of Chetak crash landing our capture to in that Tim period:

And no Pakistani has been able to explain why the display looks like a repaired wreckage if it was captured when it landed in minimarg and is devoid of any squadron markings.
If one is to believe the Indian stories (There are always several versions of Indian excuses) how come it crashed in Pakistan territory, what was it doing there in the first place and for a crashed helicopter, the almost complete glass cockpit is completely intact. So no it never crashed but was captured while it was involved in spying activities. The unit badge on the tail is should suffice any one finding it difficult to digest.
