The Radicalization of Turkey ...

Well, i don't know anything else related to religion which starts with "D".... :meeting:
It is, I think.
FYI, He is a sunni muslim from Turkish background, and a double account user ;)
Did you fail in the English Alphabet? Sunni Muslim has no "D" in it anywhere. @Sinan beat you to it, Deism. Double account? So what is it? I'd like to know who my evil twin is.
PS: I may remove you from my ignore list, your entertainment value has just skyrocketed.
(i dont know how else to call him, whats the counter part of salafi? :D)
I would say Evangelist but he said he was atheist, never seen an atheist come to the defense of a religion. :meeting:

No i found it, Mormon, they are even more hardcore than salafis, i have seen a Salafi with Iphone but Mormons dont even use electricity. :)

Which on the other hand would mean he isnt mormon since hes using Internet, dang it. :rolleyes1:

I think you're thinking of the Amish. Mormons don't have a problem with using anything they can get their hands on. Romney is a Mormon.

@US_statedept_retired - Kind of a harsh indictment of an entire nation over a single incident, don't you think? If you feel Turkey is changing for the worse, maybe a write up on the change in Turkish society over time would have been more appropriate here? But this? This is just crap.

. . . .
Are Amish people making problems or are they peaceful?

I could be wrong on this but the Amish that I've read about, saw a documentary about and occasionally saw in soap operas were averse to the usage of modern day.....ummmh...pretty much anything; from medicines to electricity ! :undecided:

@XenoEnsi-14 can correct me if I'm wrong !

Nope, you are giving examples from modern age...you have to give examples from medieval times as that is the timeline where salafists are mentality living in.

The Spanish Inquisition of Ferdinand and Isabella that forced out Muslims and Jews from Spain when the Muslim rule ended there and forced those who remained to convert to Christianity ?

But alas we Muslims too have fallen far from the pristine ideals of our religion and the character of some of the most extraordinary Muslims to have ever lived. It is most unfortunate that the Islamic commandment 'there is no compulsion in religion' is rarely practiced in the Muslim world ! :(

By and large Turkiye is the exception to that.

So this thread with misleading title was opened by @US_statedept_retired solely for the reason of religious hostility.

Tbh good to see a extremist from the other end for a change.

There's something very fishy about the OP.

The radicalization of Turkey started with Mustapha Kamal Ataturk.

Our Soviet leaders helped them poor turks with shitload of money and Kamal swore allegiance to Moscow. But later Kamal broke his promise and joined the former invaders of Turkey like England. Kamal thought he was a royal european, but in the eyes of the british monarchy he was just a janisary of rumelian origin, which they used for their own purpose of destroying the political power of the ottoman khalifat.

Turkey is a radicalized nations since 1923. Since than they made 5 coup d´etats and threatened many countries with consequences, if they accept the armenian genocide.

Armenian genocide realy happened and it was Kamal Ataturk responsible for it. He was member of the gang which seized power in the ottoman empire in 1915 to start a war against their proforma allies like Britain and France.

Turkey is in a shifting mode. They are becoming more radical every day, so one day they will start to kill each other.

There is no compulsion in religion is wrongly understood by many. It states that to believe one must believe with heart and the hypocrite is only deceiving himself.

bullshiat. there is no difference between religion and any other state doctrine like eugenics, which is prefered from Illuminati politicians.

Have you ever known any Christian majority country to not be secular?

Vatican City (i/ˈvætɨkən ˈsɪti/), officially the Vatican City State (Italian: Stato della Città del Vaticano;[d] pronounced [ˈstaːto della t͡ʃitˈta (d)del vatiˈkaːno]; Latin: Status Civitatis Vaticanae) is a walled enclave within the city of Rome. With an area of approximately 44 hectares (110 acres), and a population of 842,[3] it is the smallest internationally recognized independent state in the world by both area and population.
It is an ecclesiastical[3] or sacerdotal-monarchical[7] state ruled by the Bishop of Rome — the Pope. The highest state functionaries are all Catholic clergy of various national origins. Since the return of the Popes from Avignon in 1377, they have generally resided at the Apostolic Palace within what is now Vatican City, although at times residing instead in the Quirinal Palace in Rome or elsewhere.
