The Pink Salts of Pakistan , Billions of dollars loss to Pakistan .

@Pan-Islamic-Pakistan

Pan Pai,

Every label should have in large letters 'MADE and PACKAGED IN PAKISTAN.'

That may severely dent the marketability of the product in the Western World. Its da best the way it is happening now, gets mined and exported raw to India and is sold as an Indian product (much cooler).

Regards

There was an acute shortage of electricity in the past decade, however we now have surplus. The Government should provide subsidies to 1. export oriented industries and 2. Newly established industries which will start yielding results in the next 5-10 years.
But the bureaucratic hurdles are still there and hurting the new industries. We need to pave way for start ups.

I posted an article in this thread where a salt exporter was complaining about bureaucratic hurdles.

I simply want to understand, through evidence, what exactly we are losing. I have absolutely no trust, unlike many other members here, on youtube and other social media videos.

I saw a program on french TV few years ago where a french businessman went to Pakistan to buy pink salt from a local agent for very cheap price (around few pennies) and bring it back to Paris. Then packing it in luxury small bottles and selling at hmmm luxury price.

It’s not really about loss but about creating value you could have earned. This is what we call business. Creating value.

I believe this plunder of our national treasure came into notice of our govt nearly a year ago. Did anyone take any action to Brand it Pakistani?
One thing for which you will most certainly give credit to Indians is that they have marketed it very well. Got to recapture that market.
Pori dunya hamara namak khaey, werna na khaey.

. .
Here in the UK, whenever I see pink salt it is labelled product of Pakistan. Even in ordinary supermarkets. Wasn't the case before

Good for you ma'am. I think on various brands registered under Pakistani name one could certainly carry a logo of raja porus throwing a whip on Alexander the mecidonian while riding his elephant in a very western way. @Mangus Ortus Novem did I save some extra marketing cost for selling the salt and the history? :p:

.
IT IS TIME ARMY CREATE THEIR OWN COMPANY TO CONTROL PINK SALT EXPORT TO OTHER COUNTRY.
BECAUSE TO HELP THEM IN THEIR BUDGET, THAT WAY, THEY DO NOT PK GOVERNMENT FOR EXTRA MONEY, LEARN FROM PLA OF CHINA,PLA HAVE EVERY KIND OF INVOLE IN BUSINESS, THEY GROW, OWN FOOD , HAVE FIVE STAR HOTELS ETC, PLEASE LEARN FROM THEM.

its not just himalayan salt, but many products that are produced in Pakistan are sold as made in india....i have witnessed myself here is Australia, Himalayan Salt, Spices even Multani Mitti (all made in India) :undecided:

.
Pakistan is losing billions of dollars in exporting Pink Salts directly to the rest of the world. Even the Pakistani Dates are exported to regional countries where they repack them and sell them to the rest of the world at huge profits.

our quam is full of choor , to earn few dollars they sell there mothers....

Notl only salt also rice / Basmati .

.
The Pakistani basmati rice is also repackaged as Indian rice. Many Indian expats around the world are more patriotic than Pakistanis and would not buy products from an enemy country. While the Pakistanis only look for cheap products not considering where it was made or grown.

Why do cuisine nationalists not tackle the Sugar brand or Tea brand issue?

Australians were so worried about their health they passed a resolution in their parliament protesting excessive sugar import from Pakistan.

I don't see any Pakistani Sugar brand out there or no kapra phaaring over 'Indian' Tea monopoly.

Why are some spices brahmin and some dalit?

Will the Caliph answer any of my questions?
