for me its a bit meh. The role of ellie is weak. not the ellie we saw in the game. Joel is okay for now.

overall its on a balancing act for me. they have changed the cordycep virus in the show somewhat too.

My friend who has watched two episodes says it's probably the best game to TV/movie conversion ever done and they have stuck to the game story

The GOT show was a disgrace compared to the books. The show ruined the best characters such as Petyr Baelish and Lord Varys. You must read the A Song of Ice and Fire series if you like the show.
