Karakoram Highway (KKH) is regarded as 8th wonder of the world, a remarkable documentary [with english subtitles] sheds light on China-Pakistan ties starting with meeting between Ayub Khan special envoy Farooq and Chinese FM Zhou Enlai (Ayub Khan and Zhou Enlai are the architects of China Pakistan strategic relationship that exists to this day) and the building of the most dangerous road network that was ever undertook. Starting from Ayub Khan special envoy Farooq on secret mission, both China and Pakistan planned and constructed on the most difficult terrain in the world . it took 13 years and many lives. This vdo shows the emotionalism behind China-Pakistan ties how many Chinese sacrificed their lives (200+ alongwith 800 Pakistanis)to build for Pakistani people the Karakoram Highway and connect the 2 nations by road, which also has mutual strategic benefits for both.

Dont forget the work of FWO.. who worked even in brutal winters to complete the project....

P.S: The first pic without a doubt is from Balochistan-KPK road and not KKH.

RIP to those who sacrificed their lives for our future.
Now this route has become the base of CPEC and a key to our success by connecting us to far north upto Europe.

no doubt a great wonder of modern times cutting through the toughest mountain range on earth and making a impossible road possible is a great milestone.

Even a greater gift is the train link, that would be an even greater accomplishment , and an unbelievable achievement.
