'The first prototype of Hürjet (P1) will make its maiden flight in December 2022. The first flight with the second prototype will take place on March 18, 2023.'
HÜRJET avionics plannning is open to external sources as a result of its rapid productization effort and has been designed accordingly. The project, which was started with the company's own resources, succeeded in getting orders.
Probably with different engine options and infrastructure suitable for different avionics, it is aimed to create advanced advanced training jet and also light attack jet that will meet the direct needs of many different air forces in different parts of the world.
The technical specifications determined during the aircraft project phase were developed and the payload capacity was increased to 5000kg. The aircraft's logistics footprint and maintenance and operating costs also aim for a competitive position in its class.
The first deliveries at Hürjet will start in 2025. It is known that at least 3 countries are currently showing close interest in the project and the system is actively competing in one country's tender.

The tremendous success that TAI has shown in the HURJET project is noteworthy. The project will make its first flight in 2022, ahead of the project schedule. It is a known fact that TAI already has state-of-the-art capabilities in 4th generation jet production and testing activities, but combining these established capabilities with ability to project and design aircraft from the scratch shows that its goal of becoming a global playmaker is how relying on solid foundations.
