The Fight against PKK Terrorism

That flag change suggestion is very bad. Kurds tied to turn our flag into some clown flag by adding a shitload of yellow colors, they don't really care for it as they have their own flag. Don't ruin your flag, keep the Kurdism out of it.

I believe this requires containing in all 4 countries (Syria and Iraq not controlling these areas is an issue).

It is indeed a very bad idea.

I think we're going to see all four countries working together on this issue sooner or later. Kurds are getting out of hand with their calls for independence lately.

I don't understand Erdogan, sometimes he calls for Iraqi northern autonomous region (pushing for separation), today he calls for the integrity bashing the Kurdish referendum plan. Now I know this referendum won't happen and even Americans warned the KRG, though they all need to be dealt with, this is no good situation as it threatens the long-term integrity, stability and growth of our countries including the currently stable ones.

Autonomous is one thing (like we have in Germany), separatism another thing. Erdogan never called for an independent Kurdish state in north Iraq.

Well i'd like to see some states join forces to deal with the separatist Kurdish problem. I believe the region, if any changes to borders occur we need larger states not more smaller states.

its's already done but the IS campaign is not over yet. Tal Afar and a few tiny villages are the only remaining IS held in Nineveh province. Then it's Kerkuk province where IS has some presence, once that operation starts tensions with PUK Kurds will rise immensely and PMU are also involved there.

but arrent the puk the ones iran backs? So u will have the PMU iran backed against Puk iran backed ? srsly i support the iraqi army i dont like all these proxys lol

i saw some kurds in Twitter saying isis was defeated in mosul because of the brave kurds hahahah.

Average westerner believes it. They consciously lie and it has even worked.
I have some people on my Facebook who seem to have a love affair with the 'Kurds', I wonder what goes on in their head whenever I share/comment on a video showing TSK hunting down PKK terrorists :laughcry:

It's funny seeing how butthurt westerners in general get whenever we hit their proxies. I know some of them can't sleep because of it.

No, assimilate them

The Turk language and culture we consider it as something special and good you can't force something good on people there is a saying zorla güzellik olmaz.

Bir insanı zorla türk yaparsan türklüğun bir ayrıcalığı özelliği kalmaz.

I believe that the PMU will easily over overcome those peshmergas if it comes to battles/war

@TheCamelGuy Can you explain what is PMU, are they part of the official Iraqi Army? What are their numbers?

In 2014 when the army collapsed, several large powerful political figures formed militia's, some which used to exist in the past. Some are: Kataib hezbollah, Asaib ahl al haq, Badr brigades. Eventually, other groups followed the same path and Christians in the north (Assyrians) formed the NPU, Nineveh Plain units. Turkmens formed 4 brigades. Anbar fighters formed their 'Tribal hashd'.

Leaders agreed to form unification of these forces through naming them Hashd, eventually the gov formed the PMU umbrella and command. The PMU is not as centralized in command structure as the army, but so far they have not majorly violated gov orders. When told not to go to Ramadi they didn't, same for Mosul and Tal Afar. No they're not part of the army they're officially part of the ISF (security forces), numbers somewhere around 130K though not all available for assault OPS as many are used to secure/hold areas.

In fact only a few units have used for the majority of assault operations; ISOF, ERU (SF of the federal police), the federal police and only a few regular army units. Many divisions are not capable of fighting far from base which is why this war took so long. But still better than what the KRG has, they didn't really do much.
