At least he is clarifying that there is a Tesla factory in Berlin that is selling the popular Tesla Model Y in the EU.

The EU will enforce tarrifs to offset the subsidies to ensure a level playing field with their own manufacturers.

Personally - the UK does not have much of a "mass market" car industry left at all now - most of it moved to the EU mainland and elsewhere - so the UK won't follow with tariffs - we dont have much left except 'a few low volume luxury marques or niche products' and most average brits will be happy to have the chinese taxpayers subsidise their next car ....
