Yes our shadow economy or informal economy is actually more than the current gdp.

Its about 50 trillion rupees and growing. It employs over 70% employers.


We need only 50 billion in tax and non tax revenue to run Pakistan and we can do It even if we dont document the economy further including running loss making soes.

This is a very rich country.

Nestle and Pepsi creating jobs in Pakistan

Brother, Pepsico, and Nestle pay tax and have created 1000s of direct and indirect jobs in Pakistan

IPP's have lifetime tax-free deals as well as some Chinese companies investing in CPEC.

Please don't mix A and B into one, you very well know why that happened and have nothing to do with offering Tax breaks to corporations

Thieves in Power signed deals that made them Money irrespective of the cost to the country is not the same as someone looking after Pakistan interest and signing deals with corporations.

One of the reccomendations of this report was focusing on development of skills amongst the youth. Can't help but think how our high youth unemployment rate contributes towards protestor volumes.
