is it any surprise that N-Leaguers get so itchy when any sort of electoral audit is mentioned?

There is no problem with any audit, provided it is done in pursuance to the relevant Article 225 of the Constitution. The problem only arises if the audit being demanded violates due legal process.

o sir ji why do u bring up the same thing again and again when we have discussed it many times. I have explained it many times that both the sides had agreed to do the appropriate legislation required for empowering the said Commission to do the audit. Now the govt has simply backed out of it. There is no other way to look at it.

What the sides may or may not agreed to was merely a political move. The law is the law, in this case Article 225. Let Parliament and the Courts act accordingly.

then i have the right to call this backing out from one's commitment an act of hypocrisy irrespective of who does it.

You may call it whatever you like, but it will all remain a part of political maneuvering being done by both sides.
