A few days ago, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s latest Bollywood song made all the rage across the border.

Ishtehaar from the Sonakshi Sinha-starrer Welcome to New York irked controversy when singer-turned-politician Babul Supriyo called for a revised ban on Pakistani artists in India.

While many artists decided to keep mum on the matter, Pakistani actor Adnan Shah Tipu decided to voice his opinion. The actor, who has worked in Bollywood, gave his two cents in a Facebook video.

“Thank you for banning us,” stated the Maalik star. “You have given us a chance to make an Amitabh Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah and other big stars in Pakistan.”

Taking a reference from sports, Tipu made a pondering point and said, “You banned Pakistani players from Indian Premiere League (IPL), but then Pakistan Super League (PSL) happened.”

The actor has worked in numerous Bollywood projects such as Himesh Reshammiya’s Kajraare and Arshad Warsi’s Welcome to Karachi.

Talking about his experience while working across the border, Tipu said, “I have worked in India. People showed me a lot of love. But what does this ban mean? You don’t get our bread and butter. It is up to God.”

“Your ban doesn’t change two facts. Facts that no one should ever forget. First, your paternity. Second, your nationality. My father’s name is Ghazanfar Ali Shah. I’m from Faisalabad, Dhobi Ghat, Pakistan. That’s not going to change,” he added.

“I did a film in 2007. I wasn’t starving back then. Therefore, because of your ban, neither Fawad Khan nor Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will starve,” said the Dukhtar star.

Tipu went on to say, “Pakistan is my mother. If I say anything to your mother, you will feel offended. Likewise, if you say anything about my mother, will I be ecstatic about it?”

He concluded, “So, here’s what I have to say. Go play your game, we will play ours. You’ve banned us. Thank you very much.”

“Pakistan above all.”

Uptil now i respected tipus art but now i lost all the respect cause I never knew he went to work in bollyshyttwood.

Plus i never get this pakistanis artists obsession with mentioing indian actors all the time in their tv shows, dramas, interviews, morning shows and tweets, everywhere , and even mention Indian songs and what not that many of us at times dont even know about.

So what with this whole statement "You have given us chance to make amitabh bachan shachan tucchan, naseeru something long name" ?

Seriously what with these pakistani actors obsession in mentioning these nobody indian actors and specially protraying them as some kind of giants? For whom are these ppl some huge stars? Not for me . Not for many of us who dont even give two hoots to Indian actors.

Also many of these eulogized Indians are extremely mediocre actors.I have seen some work of sridevi and amitabh and they are so avg and bakwas. Extremely avg actors.

And did tipu not feel ANY shame in saying that it will give us chance to make amitabhs, naseer something as if paksitan has NEVER produced GREAT actors? I mean like really? So he thinks none of pakistans top actors qazi wajid, rahat kazmi, badar khalil, anwar maqsood , moin akhtar etc were million times above these amita shamitabs and ilk?

Just cause india has a huge industry and they market their avg actors like amitabh excessively or cause Indians have these over rated actors does that mean pakistans best actors will be considered below these hindeez?

I mean shehnaz sheikhs and rahat kazmis plays' scenes are played in Indian acting academies to teach them diction, comic timings, dialogue delivery and here these tipu sort of people are euologizing indian actors and crying over indian ban. I mean does he have ANY sense of self respect?

And if he has money then why go to india at all? And where was tipu when Indian actors were tweeting to show supprot for fake surgical strikes where was tipu showing support for paksitan and our armed forces and kashmiri civilains who got killed by indian loc firing.

He is crying on this ban. If i were an actor i wouldnt have nothered mentioing it anywhere. Self respect....!
