That's first time in my life,when i am hearing that cylinder caused fire during cooking,no they don't unless or untill gas was leaking and soemone did lit up a fire and it caught fire in no time.

You should look at the 1997 mina (Makkah/hajj) fire. Cause was a exploding cylinder while cooking.

This happens when you only teach how to read namaz and do wudhu, what should be the length of beard, how someone will go to hell for forgetting small acts.. but you never teach how to conduct affairs that ensure safety and security of others..

The time tableeghis (and I have spent time with them.. they are very nice people) spend on just correcting namaz, if only 25% of this time is spent on raising awareness about worldly things, our society will become great..

Cylinder forensic is apparently looks like how fire started. There is enough material to burn once such fire starts in Trains....

When cylinders burst, the highly combustible LNG comes out and spreads in all four directions.. on the floor first and then its fumes fill the air. If a cylinder bursts during food cooking, there is already a flame for the LNG.

If there's a short circuit, the fire requires combustible material to spread. That's why, electrical fires mostly spread at the night time when people are sleeping and short circuit fires eventually find something to engulf. In the day time, most of the electrical fires can be extinguished, and if not, people have enough time to run away.

In case of bursting of a cylinder, the resulting fire spreads very quickly because the fuel (not ordinary wood or cloths, it is fuel) is already available. People do not get time to respond... and with gas fumes, everything nearby catches fire..

Death toll of gas cylinder exploded near Liaquatpur in the Tezgam Express on fire risen to 73, and several people were injured in the accident, most of them in critical condition.

According to media, more than 40 people were killed and several others were injured in the accident when a gas cylinder exploded on the Tezgam Express while it was travelling from Karachi to Rawalpindi.

Rahim Yar Khan, DPO, confirmed the death toll of 46 people and expressed further fears of death, while Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed confirmed the death of 13 passengers.

According to Rescue Head Bahawalpur Baqir Hussain, 38 bodies have been recovered from the burning bogies so far.

The DPO said those killed and injured in the accident have been shifted to the hospitals of THQ Liaquatpur and Bahawalpur while the fire was also controlled.

According to ISPR, the army personnel reached the scene of the tragedy and started relief operations with the civil administration while the Army Aviation helicopter also reached the site of the tragedy, leaving the injured to hospital.

Ignorant people who carry inflammables inside trains and lax railways staff and security who allowed such things inside train are responsible for this avoiadable human tragerdy

Blame lies upon authorities.Most people in our part of world have no such knowledge.
Those who allowed them to board train carring these items are solely to be blamed.

There many cause of fault cylinder that contributed to that. Faulty valve, if it's open at full, it might not be. Integrityof the cylinder wall becoming weak.

well, lack of education . In majority cases ticket master see the violation but ignore and walk away to avoid confrontation with illiterate people.

Lahore: A fire broke out on a train on Thursday when a gas canister used to cook food exploded, killing at least 62 people.


Tezgam Express was on its way to Rawalpindi from Karachi when the fire destroyed three of the train’s carriages at Liaquatpur near Rahim Yar Khan.

The cylinder burst into flames in three economy class bogies. The injured are being shifted to nearby hospitals while rescue teams are busy in extinguishing the fire.

Many people jumped out of the train, in order to save themselves from the flames, according to details.

Speaking to a news channel Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid confirmed that two cooking stoves blew up. “People in the train were cooking, they had (cooking) oil which added fuel to the fire,” he stated.

“Most deaths occurred from people jumping off the train,” he added.

“People sneaking stoves onto trains in order to prepare meals on long journeys is a common problem,” the minister said.

Army troops including doctors and paramedics reached the site to assist civil administration in the rescue and relief operation.

Army aviation helicopters have flown from Multan to evacuate the critically injured.

President Dr Arif Alvi expressed profound grief on the loss of several precious lives in the tragic blast.

He prayed for the departed souls and the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to the injured.

Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in Tezgam Express fire incident.

The premier condoled with the bereaved families. He has also directed the authorities concerned to provide prompt and best possible medical treatment to those injured in the incident.

The country’s railway network has fallen into disrepair in recent decades due to chronic under-investment and poor maintenance.

Eleven people were killed in an accident in July and four in another one in September.

About 130 people were killed in 2005 when a train rammed into another at a station in Sindh, and a third train hit the wreckage.

Imagine you are Modi...what would you do if such an incident happens under your watch??? It is obvious.

• Put the blame on Muslims and massacre 2000 muslim men, women, children and babies...

• You burn homes of hundreds of thousands of Muslims and make them homeless and drive them away to live in shanty towns.

• You Burn Muslims alive, maime them before lynching and killing them in the presence of state police and when held responsible, Modi says it is just a response to Muslims who burned the train...

• While a Retired Judge highlevel commission states in its finding that the incident was an accident...

• Modi CM of Gujrat makes another State commission, that after 6 years of incident, exonorates him from Killings of Muslims in the aftermath riots ...

• But the same Modi made commission after 6 years of incident, also states that it was a deliberate, planned by Muslims fire that burned the train.

• So sixty innocent Muslims are sentenced to death because of Modi gang entrapment.

This what have happened if this train accidental burning would have taken place in modren day Hindutva Extremist India with Hindutva Sanghis on board. Period.
