Whatever the cause of initial fire leave aside but prescience of gas cylinders was main source of fire and blasts which causes more deaths.
Put ban on travelling with fuel especially on Public transport and gave big punishment the organizers of such events who can't provide food for visitors, at least they should provide them with gas cylinders and stoves.

There is no reason to blame the people.
The blame solely lies on the railway safety staff as they allowed such activities and have no interest in controlling them either.

The Railway minister is more interested in striking setting deals with other political parties than to focus on his constitutional job.

Since when has a Pakistani ever needed permission to ride roughshod over rules and regulations, not to mention common sense, to do what he wants regardless of consequence.
I'll ask you a question. Who "allowed" people to take petrol in polythene bags from an overturned tanker resulting in over a hundred deaths? Answer: their own short term benefit overriding concern for their own safety and that of others.
No one needs to tell me that using a gas stove with a naked flame on a packed train, or collecting petroleum in a plastic bag while smoking a cigarette isn't a good idea.
You just kinda know.

lack of education and increase hunger are the two major factors which make a person risk his life for even one liter of free petrol and pakistani people are very much hungry today from top to bottom. at the top we have examples of noora and zardari and at the bottom we have example of ahmad pur incident.

One thing is for sure that cooking on train is not new. Unfortunately, we lost 70+ innocent lives hence, it became the top agenda of the day. The law has been crushed since long and we are merely reacting to the situation. That is also true that most of such groups don't adhere to the law and there are authorities that never paid much attention to implement the law. . . .so we have culprits at both hands, people as such and the authorities as well. However, that argument of manhandling by passengers in such situation, has a strong point.
