I think car sales as a whole are bad.
I am looking at a mecedes GLE
New costs £60,000 plus
Used 2018 model with 10000 miles is £28000 approx. Why would you buy a new car when a diesel with that sort of milage, its engine hasn't been run in properly. Additionally, company cars are nit required therefore sales will be lower

. . .
Until now Tesla dare not report November 2020 Tesla 3 sales in China.

Yes, they are up...but they've been up every month. (BYD not mentioned).

Nio up 250 cars.
Xpeng up ~1200
Li up 1000
That's only ~2500 cars. Even if they stole all of Tesla's marketshare Tesla sold over 12,000 in October so they'd be at 9,500 for November. Still above Nio.

LOL..If true, that is a sign of decline.

I observed last few months Tesla sales in China are reported quickly after end of month. But very strange , now is 7 December and yet to report anything. Bad Omen for Tesla China.

Nov 9th last time. You are early. Plus they get the numbers from Chinese sources not Tesla.

November 9, 2020

Your data are outdated, China's EV market changes much faster than backwards third world market which love to protected by lameass national security reasons like the US.

NIO/Xpeng's sales in Nov already reach about 5,000 each, and BYD's Nov sales, just Han model along, reach 10,000+, I don't see how Tesla could manage to keep their pie in China with the jump of sales of all his Chinese competitors.

With the launch of another EV heavyweight, China's Luxury brand Red-Flag's EHS-9 now, the future looks very bleak for Tesla.

Actually Tesla is making a dedicated hatchback specifically for the European market that is unique from the Model Y. As for the Nio and Xiaopeng fanboys, Elon Musk confirmed that Tesla is designing a car specifically tailored for the Chinese market. This (along with increased Model 3 and Model Y output) will definitely eat into the share of other Chinese EV makers.

.
Model Y production is soon to begin out of Giga Shanghai. That will just boost the numbers even more for Tesla.

Tesla's are good but they are only good while they are monopolising the EV market. The other big name manufacturers were a bit late to start their foray into EV production. That is not the case anymore.

With BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Renault, Citroen, Peugeot, Audi and Co their market share will take a massive hit. With all the above having supply chain and customer base already present in EU.

Thats not all the Korean brands are plenty on the roads now as well so all will effect Tesla. I am not sure UK Governments target of 2030 for full EV only economy is realistic. The issue will be in places like my city where people are by and large parking on streets, where will you put charging points and how many.

They are all hoping that by then full charging times will be in 5-10mins roughly equivalent to a fuel stop by a normal car. Tesla's domain is limited and will be even more limited once other brands are in the field with their full EV models.

Tesla will be the dominant EV company over the next decade, and it won’t be close. Their tech is so far ahead of the competition it’s laughable. Their will be other successful EV companies, but they will all live in the shadow of Tesla.
