I was thinking to buy one too but decided against it. Wait for the technology to mature first, wait at least another 5-7 years. Other established auto giants will also come out with their own version, price will come down too.

They are indeed charging but quality is not bad, but for surely in future they are going to face competition, which is going to bring down their prices at compromise of quality!

Totally different as planes are widely separated and pretty much fly in straight lines on Autopilot.

Still auto pilot in cars have more situational awareness, consider it like cruise control, where driver can always intervene.
When all cars will follow road and driving rules, there will be less and less accidents.
Just by following speed limits we can lower accident stats. considerably.
