The foregoing was announced by the Ukrainian editorial “Ukrinform” stating that in accordance with its own credible resources near the town called Komsomolskoe there is a self-styled manufacturing workshop aimed at production of portable MLRS 9P132“Grad-P” („Partisan”).
The latest developments in Donbas are showing that Russia came up with freshly-elaborated plans for this area. Apart from being a testing ground for newly-manufactured Russia weaponry, Donbas is viewed by the Russians as an ample gun-running point, which is to be used to smuggle arms to the Moscow-controlled terrorist factions of the Middle East including ISIS.
“Grad-P” production capacities
The workshops of Capital Construction and Repairs Directorate subordinate to the private joint-stock company “Komsomolskoe Mining Authorities” are used as a venue for the production of „Grad-P”. Noteworthy, the manufacturing process is organized in 3 shifts lasting 12 hours each, where the workers befit financially a couple of times higher in comparison with their colleagues engaged into work associated with direct line of business pertaining to the aforementioned enterprise.
Another fact worth mentioning is that sky-high production capacities of “Grad-P” do not fall with the needs of terrorists operating in Donbas. Thus, it might be concluded that this missile system produced en masse is targeted for export.
Scope of purchasers
The clients of the respective missile system are multiple and varied, but ice-clear.
Considering the fact that DNR is a rogue entity existing only due to Russian assistance, it may trade only with clients of the same kind, i.e. terrorist organizations, particularly those present in Syria with ISIS on top.
Evidence signaling about the usage of “Grad-P” by ISIS militants is mounting at full tilt starting from the photos from the battle lines and finishing with well-styled video. However, as of late such kind of content started to vanish together with the respective Internet accounts.
In this case KGB-soaked style of Russia Federation is simple and clear as usual. Particularly, it lies with launching massive blame-game campaign prior to the opponent in order to dish the dirt all the through.

The choice to blame volunteer battalions is understandable as well. First and foremost, MLRS „Grad-P” is not
inducted with the Ukrainian army, thus such kind of lame-game would be initially destined to fail, not to mention that Ukrainian defense industry enterprises do not manufacture this missile system at all. In the case of volunteer battalions one might come up with a possible explanation that this kind of weapon was handed to them by somebody, e.g. other volunteers.
However, the aforementioned explanation is quite far-fetched as long as a tacit prohibition to give Ukraine any
weaponry is still in force, thus „Grad-P” could not be brought to it even in theory.
At the same time DNR commander’s phrase about “a specific way of launching “Grad-P”, which is traditionally
used by ISIS militants” initiates certain thoughts, which begin to crystallize if to take into account that the territory of occupied Donbas is a solid platform of mercenaries’ recruitment avid to take part in Syrian hostilities, especially on the side of ISIS. Hence, together with the missile system ISIS gets its battle-seasoned operators, who are able to perform and instruct.
Interestingly, Basurin’s words bear strong resemblance to the recent information campaign about the arms deliveries made by Ukraine to ISIS, which was based on the statement of a detained Lebanese arms trafficker engaged into selling Chinese portable anti-aircraft systems FN6 to ISIS.

ISIS militants are extremely interested in acquiring Ukrainian passports, which got into the hands of DNR/LNR fighters in Donetsk and Lughansk.
