Two injured as firing erupts at a university in Karachi
KARACHI: At least two people were injured reportedly in an explosion here in Karachi on Monday, ARY News reports.

According to initial reports, some armed men entered a private university near Pehlwan Goth. Sources said the attackers were clad in Shalwar Kameez and they were three to four in numbers.

Firing was also heard in the area following the explosion. reportedly carried out by the attackers.

Heavy contingents of Police and Rangers have reached and surrounded the university.

The law enforcers have sealed the entry and exit points of the area.

Karachi!!! May be street fight entered university. Karachi security is degrading day and night. Civil society needs to be take up the battle at their hand and put lots of pressure on the government. Else these may be beginning of take over by anti-social elements.

Its Habib university(private) established in previous year, one of the most expensive university. I hardly expect any classes their at this time. May be target is not university.
