The Frontier Corps (FC) “busted” on Tuesday a terrorist network involved in planting and facilitating improvised explosive devices (IED) in Fata.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the forces conducted the intelligence based operation (IBO) in Bara, Khyber Agency.

The incident came a day after six FC men were martyred and two others wounded when their patrol vehicle hit a roadside bomb in the Harnai district of Balochistan.

Its impossible to prevent 100% of all planned attacks. This is due limiting resources like money, manpower, gathering intel etc. The agencies are stretched thin as it is. When an attack happens, more resources are diverted to investigating the attack, and that allows for finding the responsible party.
