Ever wondered why they never leave?

1. Japanese government cannot kick them out; their political structure is designed and defined by the US. I don't know whether it is good or bad for them, but it definitely is infringing their sovereignty after so many years since WW2
2. Every time any Japanese or Korean government makes a resolve to either reduce US presence in their country or simply ask them to leave, suddenly North Korea is made into a boogeyman and these two countries are scared into submission.
