(Yicai Global) Dec. 21 -- Five mobile games have earned over USD1 billion via the App Store and Google Play worldwide this year, among which Chinese gaming giant Tencent Holding's PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor claimed the first two slots.
PUBG Mobile, along with its Chinese version Peacekeeper Elite, brought in revenue of USD2.6 billion in 2020 as the champion, up 64.3 percent from last year, followed closely by Arena of Valor, which landed USD2.5 billion, which rose 42.8 percent, according to data US mobile market analytics firm Sensor Tower released today.
The runners-up on the list were Pokémon GO at USD1.2 billion, Coin Master with USD1.1 billion and Roblox’s USD1.1 billion.
