By that logic, only uneducated and poor people are sincere and capable, right?? Do you know that Friedrich Engels was a man of privilege and yet is considered a Founder of Marxism? A movement, despite all its failings, has lifted hundreds of poor people out of abject poverty and probably led to the Workers' Rights in the Capitalist West? And the world is full of people of privilege doing things for their countrymen. Even the fake 'socialist' ZAB introduced laws which gave more rights to workers in Pakistan. Why shouldn't the opinion of a highly educated person like Bilal Musharraf be given thoughts? At least he is not of the feudal mode, which is rampant in Pakistan. His dad is a discredited force with no political standing. So IF and WHEN Bilal achieves something it will be by hard work and merit!!

That's your Fail #2.
I am half way through the video and though this is my first time ever watching Bilal Musharraf, I can already tell a very smart man and from the comments to the video, there are people acknowledging his help to Pakistanis via the Khan Academy.
Bilal Musharraf is not Pervez Musharraf. He was sent to America where, upon not getting a scholarship, he did whatever to complete his studies; he is not elaborating upon that in the interview but my guess is he probably did 'odd jobs' which would have been illegal in America as a student.
Yes, the 'Generals' have established a monopoly over Pakistan but that doesn't mean their children, exposed to foreign education and ideas can't contribute. And Bilal has already contributed via the Khan Academy.
Anyway, I have not and will never condemn kids for the actions of their parents! I will watch what people say and do and factor that into the existing 'talent' pool of Pakistan-- not an impressive one, as we know, and give people credit when due. Pakistan is a country where a very talented guy like Atif Mian was removed only because he was an Ahmadi. Pakistan must choose what's available. At best people, without the political big families' powers, can hope to be advisors. That's the best hope for Bilal and Atif. They are not going to 'rape' Pakistan!
