The central asian republics happen to be connected to both China andIt’s more about Turkmenistan exporting its gas on the world market to earn more then the Chinese are willing to pay them.
As far as I know the TAPI proposal was always a LNG pipeline and therefore was always dependent on subsidies (aka, someone has to foot the bill for the counter-economic pipeline).
Since the proposal isn't even a CNG pipeline, and involves going through 2 semi-hostile countries just to get to a hostile third country, it has zero fundamental merit in my opinion.
I don't see why Turkmenistan wouldn't just export all their spare gas to China.
An LNG pipeline from Turkmenistan through Afghanistan and Pakistan shouldn't be fundamentally cheaper than simply importing LNG by ship from Qatar for India.
The central asian republics happen to be connected to both China and Europe by natural gas pipelines (This is because they were part of the Soviet Union and therefore connected to the Soviet/Russian pipeline system).
Those also happen to be both of the most expensive import markets for natural gas.
I see zero point in them expanding to less expensive import markets.
TAPI is not an Lng pipeline, it is a natural gas pipeline.
They don't have an infrastructure in place to sell their gas to Europe and Russia won't share her pipeline capacity or let them use their lands for transit
They will have no leverage over Pakistan. They will only make some extra money from transit fee. Taliban will not break the agreement or otherwise risk suspension of trade from Pakistan. Afghanistan uses Pakistani sea ports for free so they wouldn’t want to displease Pakistan and risk expensive trade through alternative routes. TAPI will give them free money and nobody wants to refuse money when they are getting it for literally doing nothingThis pipeline project is not good for Pakistan after completion of this project Taliban would be able to blackmail Pakistan. Why Pakistan is not building Iran pipeline
India Pakistan trade benefits India. Pakistans imports from India would be higher than exports
Is saray paragraph ki summary ha trade with India would not only be in favor of India but would also destroy Pakistans agriculture and motorcycle and car industry

'I' is just a placeholder for what that land would be after the Final War. It doesn't mean India in grand scheme of things.
