Seems in the next few weeks technocratic govt is coming. The economy is beyond PDM control. Shabber Zaidi is giving signals something is cooking behind the scene. A recent meeting in GHQ. Caretaker setup already discussed with PDM. PDM ready to make amendment in constitution. From 3 months to 6 months or 2 years.

Looks like the Pak Deep Stste is taking the direct control. Hopefully, it'll bode well for Pak as they "collect" funds from various sources and fix the finances. Let IK wait for some time since the Boss feels very insecured nowadays due to the Sino-Russian axis....

This charade has been happening since past 70 plus years. The moment country starts progressing even an inch, conspiracy starts against it by the so called neutrals. They band together all the thugs, looters, traitors together, throw the majority government out, install a puppet regime, economy and country can go to shit.
Who is going to take responsibility for this shit now and how many years will it take to fix it?
This country is being run like a corporation and a failed one like PIA or Steel mill.

The rot is so deep its an uphill task for the technocrat govt.

Can they take tough decisions, not burdening the masses with additional levies and taxes, but trying to nab the political Mafias and non civilians, stop the pilferage and get the stashed money.

Also a govt. with full support of the people will succeed, people will be paying more taxes willingly, remittances will rise more with a PTI govt, and even if the commodities are taxed more, like petrol, gas, electricity, people will be happy to pay the higher price only to the govt they want, and IK's PTI can do this.

It's about empathy and trust and not about coercive measures.

So most likely a technocrat govt. is a short term remedy and might not make it inclusively.

Its very easy for techno guys to take tough decisions. No one will blame them or they are not part of any political party. New taxes are long due now to pay back, and Pakistan can't survive loan to loan ANYMORE.

Technocrats like Raza Baqir, ex. SB governor, financial experts Hafeez Sheikh, Shabbar Zaidi are competent and had the financial portfolio earlier.

Ideally they can deal with the IMF program, every loan be it from WB, ADB, bonds and other finances even from China are pegged against an IMF approval and nod.

So yes, but since they are non elected, people will be accepting the higher taxes with a pinch of salt.

And there are chances that Estab. is planning for a longer tenure for the technocrats.

Don't fall for this bro. A popular govt is the best chance. People are already pissed off because of the whole taxation without representation issue by the kleptocratic bunch.

All of a sudden, company bahadur cares for the economy that they helped ensured was proper fked by PDM.

This is just to deny the people elections. The economy was also on the mend after years, when they threw out IK, mind you.

I think so too... Now PMLN turned all their cannons toward Gen Bajwa.

Its being run like an insurgency. Various groups made up to target someone then these groups fight each other. Divide and rule.

Why is that military govts in many countries have done well, but not in Pakistan? The moment US aid dries up we are back to square one.

South Korea, Thailand, Brazil, Taiwan, Turkey and others have made structural changes which Pak establishment refuses to do and bringing back the dream team again is another example of this practice.

Perhaps the only thing left now is hosting a US flag on top of every national building.

Please avoid giving them new ideas.

Thing with technocrats is that they will not bring in structural changes. They will only come to negotiate with IMF increase prices cut down spending may be privatize downsize SOEs and thats it.
