Featured Taliban Tells India That It Believes In Peaceful Coexistence

go watch the video, they've explained it all. Don't be lazy.

basically in a Sino-Russian alliance , there must be a leader nation and a second fiddle, both China and Russia doesn't want to be second fiddle in such hypothetical alliance.

I watched the video only to find a conjecture not a single shred of evidence that this would happen. Go watch such videos, it might help you with your delusions.

. .
So let's compare what you said and what i am saying,
Taliban attacked China = 0

Russian Supplied Weapons to China:
S 400
SU 35
Tor SAM
To name a few things.
Till 2007, China imported 84% of their military weapons from Russia.

Now you tell me which one sounds like a pure fantasy,
- China and Russia cooperating against a shared enemy
- Russia and China fighting because you said so..
India is Supa Powa, they just refurbished the Vimana space craft. They are making sure Afgan belongs to them now.

Thanks to me India I just make you a Supa Powa for the second time.

China's next headache, a new Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

Perhaps, just perhaps, there’s more than meets the eye with the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Many of our readers are old enough to remember the United States’ support of the Afghan Mujahideen following the USSR invasion of Afghanistan. Indeed, the Mujahideen – including both local Afghan fighters and Arab militants who travelled to Afghanistan for jihad – helped form the ideological and governmental basis for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, controlled by the Taliban and a safe haven for numerous terror groups such as al-Qaeda.

The US Operation Cyclone’s judgement was to support the little guy to fight the big guy, and waste the big guy’s resources. In the context of the Cold War where proxy wars were a flavour of the month, the logic made sense.

However, hindsight always tells a different story. We all know what happened next.

What followed the 9/11 attacks was an upheaval across the entire Middle East and central Asia, and indeed across Islamic communities the world over. In the West, we saw a dramatic rise of Islamic fundamentalism while the Middle East witnessed bloody invasions, civil wars as well as the growth and decline of regional superpowers.

However over recent years, the world has averted its gaze from the Middle East and has looked towards China as the new global sponsor of instability.

Blowing up satellites in orbit, state sponsored cyber attacks, trade wars and debt diplomacy. The list of aggressions are numerous.

In so doing, the West has forgotten its enemies in the Middle East and central Asia. The West has forgotten them so much so that two consecutive US Presidents have come to the conclusion that withdrawing from Afghanistan and ceasing their 20-year war on the Taliban and terror sympathisers in central Asia was the best course of action.

Is there something more behind Trump and Biden’s decisions?

Donald Trump (author of the “bomb the sh*t out of them” doctrine), began the process of negotiations with the Taliban for a troop withdrawal. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden (chief internationalist) didn’t bow to pressures from many across the global community to remain in the country and followed Trump’s lead. Two proponents of different approaches to war and foreign policy generated the same outcome. Curious.

Perhaps there’s more to the situation than meets the eye.

Adnaan Aamir, journalist based in Quetta, Pakistan, and founder of Balochistan Voices, outlined in the Interpreter this week that the Pakistani Taliban attempted to take the life the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan.

Aamir outlined that there were three potential reasons for this attack.

“Most obviously, the TTP recognises that China is arguably the closest ally of Pakistan at present. The terror group has repeatedly targeted symbols of the Pakistani state and important personalities,” Aamir contested.

“Second, the TTP is happy to further muddy the waters for Pakistan in its regional rivalry with India.

“A further reason for a change of strategy may be that the TTP has decided to retaliate against China over the treatment meted out to Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang province, where there have been mass incarcerations in the name of countering terrorism.”

Aamir explained that there is currently a US$50 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor agreement underway, which will build numerous energy and infrastructure projects across the country. Indeed, not only would this threaten the strength and bargaining power of the US’ newfound strategic partner in India, but will also provide China with a gateway to marry up with their freshly renewed allies in Iran.

Except, a newly emboldened Taliban Emirate is in the way.

Strategically, it would also be hugely beneficial to the US to place a rogue extremist government on the doorstep of a global superpower. Indeed, the Taliban and al-Qaeda, both in Pakistan and Afghanistan, have long historical connections to the Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement operating in western China, specifically among the Uyghur community.

The situation gets more interesting considering that the Turkistan Islamic Party was dropped from the US terror list by former US secretary of state Mike Pompeo in October 2020, arguing that there is too little evidence that they still exist – a line that China promptly denied. Again, curious.

End note

Perhaps there is more than meets the eye regarding the US withdrawal from Afghanistan. Certainly, the US has geopolitical impetus to leave the region in ruins for the Taliban to reassert control over.

History has a curious way of repeating itself.

It seems west has a issue with it.. not China

China and Taliban are happy to do business

Taliban Tells India That It Believes In Peaceful Coexistence

Kabul (Jun 19): Amid the withdrawal of US and NATO forces from Afghanistan ahead of the September 11 deadline set by US President Joe Biden, and India’s policy on the rapidly changing ground situation in favor of the Taliban mired in doubt and uncertainty, the Taliban said on Saturday that they believe in “peaceful coexistence” with their neighborhood and region.
“Pakistan is our neighbor, we have shared values and history. India is also our regional country. None of us can change our neighbors or our region. We must accept this reality and have peaceful coexistence. That is in the interest of all,” Taliban spokesperson Suhail Shaheen said in response to questions on how the Taliban viewed India’s role in Afghanistan after the US withdrawal, and what their views were on the Kashmir issue.

He described the Taliban as a “nationalist Islamic force”, whose goals were “the liberation of Afghanistan from foreign occupation and establishment of an Islamic government” there. There have been reports recently that Indian officials have established contact with some sections in the Taliban, possibly Mullah Baradar too. India was left out of the Afghan peace process, which first saw the Trump administration do a deal with the Taliban for withdrawal of forces. Pakistan played the facilitator, and in the next phase, brought the Taliban and Afghan government representatives together for talks.
Through the last two decades, New Delhi’s development assistance of around $3 billion to Afghanistan gave it a good-size footprint in that country, much to the chagrin of Pakistan. But India’s future role in Afghanistan is uncertain, especially if the Taliban become the dominant political force. Appearing to confirm reports that Delhi may be adjusting to the new reality by reaching out to the Taliban, a spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said India was in touch with all “stakeholders” in Afghanistan.

But Shaheen said he had no comment on these reports as such talks are under the direct purview of Taliban's political office in Qatar. However, in response to public remarks by Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla on Friday that the Taliban’s “relentless pursuit of power through violence”, “targeted assassinations” and “territorial aggression” had made the situation in Afghanistan “fluid” and “uncertain”, Shaheen said this was a “distortion” of the reality.
“That India says Taliban are triggering violence is not in line with the ground realities. This undermines their credibility in the Afghan issue,” he said.
He alleged that the Afghan forces “launched vast offensives against us immediately after the third day of the ceasefire in Baghlan, Helmand and Herat provinces. When we reacted to their offensives, their forces didn’t hold the ground, evacuating military posts and bases one after the other. This is what we want to tell India.”
Meanwhile, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Saturday said that the only way forward toward peace in Afghanistan is through reconciliation, coexistence and talks among Afghans, and reiterated that Islamabad’s approach toward its neighbor has changed and it will favor a future arrangement that is acceptable for all Afghans.
In an interview with Tolo News, he rejected Taliban sanctuaries in Pakistan and said most of their leaders “are in Afghanistan”. He also denied the existence of Quetta and Peshawar Shuras, or councils in Pakistan and said he “has been hearing of these terms for now decades.” Regarding progress in Afghan peace process, the Pakistan foreign minister said President Ghani has “a very important responsibility on his shoulders” and he must “show the leadership and the flexibility” necessary to achieve progress in the peace process.
Also, Pakistan Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid on Saturday told the National Assembly that 88 percent work on the fencing of the border with Afghanistan has been completed whilst the remaining work will be completed soon. He said that the political parties should also discuss the regional security situation.
For more regional cooperation, Pakistan and India will also be participating in a meeting of NSAs of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in the Tajikistan capital. Indian NSA Doval will be joining the meeting “in-person” on June 23-24, unlike the NSA-level virtual meeting of the SCO countries last September. Four months after India and Pakistan decided to adhere to the ceasefire pact along the Line of Control (LoC), National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is likely to be in the same room as his Pakistan counterpart Moeed Yusuf in Dushanbe next week.
The meeting is likely to be attended by Afghanistan’s NSA Hamdullah Mohib, Russian NSA Nikolai Patrushev and their counterparts from China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Given the fluid situation in Afghanistan and the fragile peace between India and Pakistan holding for the last four months, Doval’s participation and his bilateral meetings on the sidelines will be key, sources said, adding that no meeting has been planned “so far” with his Pakistan counterpart.

No dear Talibs, it's not the way you talk to wild animals. At least India doesn't understand this language.
