Whether Taliban will be able to use all of these military equipment e.g aircraft and black hawk Helis?
Another question is of maintenance of these equipment?

I have a theory on this. I think in the next two years, these heli's, etc, will be flown by them. I think the Chinese will come to rescue and also to gain a foothold in Afg., replacing India. They'd supply the maintenance parts while getting access to these heli's and other US equipment as everything there is recent tech. Let's see.

I'd like to see a list of roughly what's been captured by the Tbs.

.
But the US destroyed and shipped so much equipment. Are they coming up with these figures to balance the books ? very convenient isn't it to write off billions of dollars which can't be accounted for.

It’s possible. To keep one superpower out the other gets “invited” in. There was a saying in the Cold War about why the US was in Germany: “Keep the Russians out, Americans in, and the Germans down”. Which in this case would be to keep the “Quad out, China in, and Afghans on message”.

If the Chinese do come, it will be light footprint and they will probably sub-contract the work to locals or regional partners.

Afghans will have to be the CT partners of the Chinese, so yes, supporting their helicopter fleet will allow the Talibs to keep down rebellions and prevent any factions in the Taliban from going rogue.

The equipment being discussed is what was given to the Afg. Army. Not what the US troops had and brought back.
