In his first-ever interview with an Indian media organisation, Taliban foreign ministry spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi has said that the Taliban have "open communication channels with India'.
Speaking to WION’s Principal Diplomatic Correspondent, Sidhant Sibal, Balkhi said India can "at least open consular section of the embassy in line with the international practices" in Kabul because "we live in an inter-connected world where world citizens, especially Afghans who have suffered from four-decade war need to address their education, medical, business and other needs."

Why does indians want to go there in war zone? Why open embassy unless its to support terrorism in Pak again
Taliban again back to their dumbness

Opening an embassy is not that simple. It means recognition of the executive as legitimate government. Not gonna happen.I bet Talibs have made that offer to every Tom, Dick and Harry.

Clearly the Taliban has something we need and we have something they need.

Looks like its time to do "business" for mutual benefit.

only if all 20 our consulates are reopened with full ceremony in Afghanistan.

If it benefits the people of Afghanistan, I don't see the problem. Ultimately Afghanistan must be allowed to bring back some semblance of functionality to save it reverting to the husk of a nation from the 80's and 90's. To do so, Afghanistan needs partners to drive it out from aid dependency through to development. I am ashamed that the west abandoned Afghanistan and our Afghan partners in the way in which we managed our chaotic exit.

Op Pitting "UK Evacuation" was one such example of a hurriedly executed evacuation with very little checks and balances and even now the Afghan's that did make it out of Afghanistan to the UK are languishing in hotel rooms, children denied an education, highly skilled Afghan refugees denied a chance to apply for work and integrate into society.
