So the Iranians are now Iranizing the Taliban turning them into organized Army like they did to Hashb al Sha'abi, Hezbollah, Hamas and Ansarullah Mujhideen.

It does seem to have the Iranians hands on the matter!! Saw a video today where the Iranians are defending the Talibans by saying that 'today's Talibans are not the same as the Talibans of yesterday'. Hmmm.

America screwed up by alienating everyone in the region!! Trump's stupidity of getting out of the Nuclear Deal with Iran was a very stupid move. Perhaps the last straw as far as American influence in the region is concerned.

I do not think the blowback would be worse than the horrors Pakistan had to face in 2008. It's a much more evolved political and military structure now in Pakistan.

I tend to agree with you on that and hopefully we are both correct.
I think Afghan should be divided into at least 2 countries. A southern and a northern Afghanistan with no anti-Pakistan entities ever touching any Pakistani border while the northern state be given those who hate the Talibans and their way of life. As Biden just said--which was a big slap on the faces of Afghans- Afghanistan had never been a unified country. So what was on the ground already, be made on the map already! In such an arrangement, there needs to be a continuity of the southern Afghanistan to at least Tajikistan.

Given the hostility to the Talibans in large parts of Afghanistan, given Afghans' own history of insurmountable divisions along ethnic lines, given Pakistan's security requirements, I think it's best to give a 'democratic' option to the people of Afghanistan to end the charade of a united Afghanistan. What was never, should be never!
