Multiple sources including Tolo news confirming the Taliban rapid gains in the key Badakhshan province bordering Tajikistan. In the map below the area right to Kunduz is mostly green now.

Tologan and Faizabad are now surrounded by the Taliban from four sides.

Most surprised at the claims that the Taliban are controlling areas traditionally held by Dostum and his militia in the north bordering Uzbekistan and Turkemnistan (provinces such as Faryab and Jowzjan). The blue area in the center is Hazara territory and hardly a surprise. Apart from that it seems like only the major cities of Kabul, Herat and Mazar e Sharif as well as remote Wakhan are under ANA control.

Important part is that many taliban fighters involved in fighting in the north are Tajik and Uzbek taliban and not pashtuns

Even some sunni hazaras are taliban and fighting in provinces like baghdis

Shows the previous 20 hears of war have actually helped taliban expand into non pashtun areas as well.
On the other hand, the libturds in Pakistan are shitting bricks. They have strated to scream and shout, even the ones in military and govt establishment are jumping up and down.

There is little fight in north, but an agreement between various factions in the north and Afghan Taliban. Everything is managed Karim Khalili, Salahuddin Rabbani, Gulbudin Hekmatyar furthermore Dostum is in Turkey his militia has also surrendered. Qari Fasih's an ethnic tajik has joined taliban council and is one of the key players in north.
We might see an inclusive governemnt in Afghanistan under Taliban with no to little role of lal topi (which is the support base of ghani).
With the north no longer in equation chances of civil war are minimal. There is resistance in other parts especially region close to Pakistan border which hosts anti Pakistan elements (home to ISIS and what not) but lets see how long they hold.

This is just my opinion based on what i came across, there are other more informed memebers who can share their insights.

Very smart by the Taliban to quickly secure the borders as much as they can and as quickly as they can to ensure no supplies get through to ANA.

I am assuming the US wanted Pakistan to give them access to the air corridor so USAF could air drop supplies to the anti-Taliban terrorist organisations to keep the fire burning.

Pakistan needs to make some plan for wakhan as Taliban gain control, if we could fix something we can save ourselves lots of afhna blackmailing in the future.

Pakistan needs to completely seal the border and refugees camps shud b on afghan side of fence not on this side... Offcourse food and medicine can b shifted out...

Mind it people who will b running are those who are hostile to Pakistan in first instance
