Taliban allegedly seek Turkey’s written explanation about: Its willingness to keep troops for 18 months after NATO announced to withdraw from Afghanis

I think one should do an analysis on why Turkey is interested in keeping a presence in this country. Turkish presence is specific to its NATO obligations but this seems interesting, their must be important reasons that we are overlooking.

  1. Are they really interested in supporting the Afghan Gov? or Taliban?
  2. Are they concerned about increases in Afghan refugees, of which their 200,000 in Turkey?
  3. Could Turkey act as a Mediator between Taliban and Afghan gov?

Everyone is missing the point here by a mile or perhaps on purpose but the goal is clear to everyone. It is to link Pakistan, Central Asia and give access to new roads that reach the caspien. This inititive will only strengthen Pakistan and also expnad the belt and road. Turkey doesn't care who wins Afghan gov't or Taliban. If Taliban wins good it will be on Taliban's team which it looks to be currently. Also Turkey will Shade afghanistan from other misadventures let the winner take charge without intervention and let them dug it out locally this is also a fair fight for Taliban.. A taliban gov't comes without issues and Afghanistan re-enters peace and prosperity.

The turks are alot smart then all this people they have been doing this world hegemony thingy for 600 years. They know what's up but some of the Pakis don't see the picture clear here.. The turks are playing chess on level 9 but this people are on level 1 to understand

Taliban would not be happy with Turkish presence at Kabul airport which really only suggests one thing to me. To have a segment of the airport as a supply node. To benefit who, is the main question.

Happened in Iraq didn't it? Nearly toppled the Iraqi gov.

myanmar is already destabilized and the BRI is in trouble if US leaves and actively causes instability in the region through other tactics.

India will block the sea BRI route. The middle east will not be traversable for China. Only Russia and baltic states will be available for BRI but rail is not very efficient.

How is that so.. The US were against BRI.. India can't block shit.. India herself is blocked from Central Asia by two nuke powers they ain't going anywhere India and they will sit tight there nor do they have any say in BRI because it doesn't pass thru their territories. How are you gonna block the sea route? without all out war? Just not realistic

BRI is in case of hot conflict is it not?

Once a hot conflict breaks out, G7 navies will block sea routes, middle east will be completely unusable due to instability. US own the Arabs. How will China even get oil?

But you are correct on US cockblocking China no matter what.

Lol.. you entered a whole another topic within a second what in the world... You are talking about WW3 and it ain't happening atleast until mid-century that is a long way out but BRI will sail in the short term and all the connections is almost complete

.
So US pulling out of Afghanistan might be tactic to surround China with instability?

America's presence in Afghanistan was to position itself strategically between four states that it has in it's crosshairs. Russia, Iran, Pakistan and China.

turkey is on the side of the West, it has a vested interest in Xinjiang, China. Uyghurs are a turkic race, and that's what turkey is going for.

america has turkey to do it's dirty work, as it had in Libya (2011-13), Syria (2017-19) and Iraq (2016-19).

Rriiiiiight!!! Keep smoking whatever you're smoking my dear friend. It doesn't change the fact that turkey is a nato member state which signifies where their allegiance is. Not forgetting either, turkey is the first Muslim country that recognized israel as a state. Also, it is turkey who laid the ground work with mercenaries, arming terrorist groups in Libya under the guise of infrastructure and development project awarded by Libya back in 2009. Without which nato bombing of Libya wouldn't have commenced. It was also turkey's territory which was used to funnel through Syrian oil during ISIS rise. And again, it is turkey that sent it's military into Iraq, without Iraqi Government's consent nor UNSC's approval. It is also turkey which occupies Syrian territory, protects known terrorist groups like Nusra and HTS.

The F-35s, the spate with french navy in the Mediterranean Sea and the drama over turkish flotilla for Gaza is all smoke and mirrors.

A snake always goes for the kill at the last second, when it's too late. All these incidences were to portray turkey as a defiant state against the West and zionist israel. Those who do not focus on the Noble Qur'an, are devoid of any intuitive insight.

Pakistan doesn't need Turkish presence in Kabul Airport. They don't need Turks to do the work for BRI for them. Afghanistan is to unstable for BRI transit route to central asia, which can travel through Wakhan corridor or through China, and access to the Caspian is already Guaranteed by Iran at lower cost through the already developed rail network. But Pakistan needs to spend tons of $ to stabilize a country where 50% or more is controlled by the Taliban for what benefit? The routes of the BRI have already been mapped out. Do you expect Turkey to stabilize Afghanistan so they can run rail lines through from Gwadar to Uzbekistan and guarantee assurances that billions of $s worth of goods can freely travel through the extremely difficult and mountainous Afghan geography? The costs of developing rails through that country is nightmarish. It's something that has held the country back for a century.

Everyone has abandoned Afghanistan, not even China who invests everywhere doesn't want to touch it. Iran doesn't want to touch it, Pakistan is only there to block India. If Turkey wants to waste money on Afghanistan then by all means.

There you go again, telling people what to do. It's pathetic when one looks at it from a non-Western point of view.

Let's put the records straight, you replied to my post first, all I did was respond in kind. You don't like what you hear, then don't bother quoting me in the first place.

Turks got no business being in Afghanistan... its a part of invading force and should leave in the designated timeframe!

Turkey can't deploy or keep her troops in AFG if talibans do not agree with them. All this written explanation drama is because talibans might not have a problem and will allow them to guard the airport and talibs will then attend the Istanbul conference. This all is being done because
1. It'll make talibs believe and trust the turks.
2. Talibs also have to convince their lower ranks commanders and fighters that its okay for Turkey to keep their troops and we do not have to engage with them.
3. In return talibs will most likely want the turks to stop their support for people like dostum.
Its all about their interest and pakistan has been trying and will try to convince the talibs to allow turkish troops etc. Some how talibs also have to give out a sense of trust to the Western allies and govt including NATO. This is my opinion and i have no problem with turkey doing the dirty work, pakistan should just do the work from her own boundaries and borders like the American did during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, from a safe distance.
