Its not his Agenda that is stake - its his ideology in religious motivated folks of Pakistan.
He is for Blasphemy laws in Pakistan - but not Jihad like functions. He is for peace though and he is Islamic scholar minus Jihad.

tahir ul qadri wont contest elections, his political party will, or he will contest elections if he gives up canadian nationailty, so he is giving up the nationality

He claimed his life was in danger in Pakistan and thats why he fled to Canada.

And now he is leading a long march in Pakistan and contesting to run for elections.

So how the hell is his life in danger if he is doing all this?

And thus he lied on his asylum application to acquire Canadian citizenship and so RCMP will take action against this fradulent nonsense.

He can't become an MNA unless he denounces his Canadian nationality. Plus his vote-bank is dubious.

So I'm guessing that he will aim for a different position like an Adviser in some capacity with the authority of a deputy-PM or a Minister (like our friendly neighbourhood R.Malik). He will portray himself as absolutely necessary for any government to function with honesty, integrity etc etc.

If his demands are not met... well we know his penchant for staging dharnas.
