- All the security points that have been subjected to the broad terrorist last attack, are all under the control of the Egyptian army.

- No black flags rose on any point, no terrorist that entered into a direct clash with the heroes of the armed forces returned safely. Despite the numerical superiority of the terrorist elements involved in the attack - ten times the force of the ambushed - and the extensive use of car bombs (seven cars) ..

- In the expanded terrorist attack, it was planned by the terrorists and their regional supporters to isolate the target security points from any forms of support (air - ground) .. They mined support routes, and they used anti-aircraft manpads to neutralize the role of Apache .. Here and not for a short time, despite the overwhelming numerical superiority of the terrorist war dogs, The Egyptian soldiers succeeded in eliminating more than 40 terrorists and kept control of the target security points. The tactic followed by the terrorists in this attack is not new, but witnessed the climax of the battle of Sheikh Zwaid 2015, which was targeting mainly the expulsion of Egyptian army units from that city, But it ended in failure and the terrorists suffered heavy losses at the time. Which led to the disruption of their launch of the attacks extended from that date until Friday dawn, July 7, 2017

- In this last attack, died 26 of the purest men, and most loyal to Egypt, the 26 Egyptian fighters, including the commander of the battalion 103 Colonel (Ahmed Mansi), who wrote on his personal facebook page after the martyrdom of the former commander of the battalion Colonel Ramy Hassanein .. ( We shall meet soon)

- The attack has political dimensions that will continue to be narrated, but surely and without emotion, today's attack was not an escalation as much as suicide, a clear expression of the wretchedness of the terrorists' situation and the mercy of their supporters. Such attacks exposed the terrorists to losses that are difficult to compensate. And it gives the opportunity to finish them off inside and outside of Egypt.

- The tactics of the terrorists in the expanded attacks in Sinai, is as follows:

1- The use of car bombs, breaking the barriers and fortifications around the target point, and a massive explosion wave to ground the point and everyone near it.. In the case of the last attack, 7 cars were used from more than one direction axis, so that the fighting is "circular" and not in one direction.

2- After that came the bombing by various Hawn calibres on the same point/ambush target .. Because actually terrorists in the Sinai are too cowards to engage in a direct confrontation with officers and soldiers of the Egyptian army.

3- In the third stage, the human waves of terrorists infiltrated inside the point to carry out the easy killing of the soldiers and officers who were laying on the ground as a result of 1 and 2.

3. In the third stage, the human waves of terrorists infiltrated inside the ambush to carry out the easy killing of the soldiers and officers who were popping up as a result of 1 and 2.

- These Tactics are thought through very carefully and necessitate the existence of military planning, which can only come from foreign intelligence services, but also requires the participation of terrorist elements with great experience, both on the training and operational level, so, from 1, 2, 3 and the previous points, the terrorists intend heavy losses to the Egyptian army, And minor losses to themselves.. In the fields like Syria, Iraq and Libya, the terrorists could effectively control the security post and raise their black flag on it..

- But what happened in the last attack was an honour for every Egyptian .. only known to the good followers of the dynamics of the work of armed terrorist organizations of the new generation .. All of the previous tactics were carried out by the terrorists in this recent attack, yet the Egyptian army succeeded in the following:

1- Resistance in the targeted posts and security points south of Rafah..
2- The losses of the terrorists has reached three times the losses of the Egyptian army..

Same things swat El 3arab was saying about the Israelis who were using rockets to straff Egyptians convoys...ISIS was expected to use slingshots, but they used hawn and that was cheating !

.
most of the martyrs because of using armored VBIED for the first time which was stolen police armored
it becomes priority to have advanced ff ATGM like javelin or red arrow 12

ATGMs is an area that needs improvement for sure. The Javelin would be nice, but can they get it?

Actually DAESH was considered by the West to be the best Arab ground army..So go figure..

Or because they wanted to FIX the enemy in place, BLOCK any extraction, SUPPRESS any enemy fire, and COVER their own assault (if they used smoke rounds). As in they used mortars properly to have various EFFECTs on the enemy.

They're an insurgency they'll fight on their terms not because they're cowards but because they are tactically sound. This argument is bollocks.

I'm sorry but fucking bollocks!

These are very simple tactics that they have been employing for over five years in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Libya.

- distract or suppress enemy with HMG as VBIED advances. basic shit
- VBIED detonates then comes the mortars and HMG fire to support the advance of infantry. basic shit
- infantry create 90 degree axis to flank position with one section providing fire support, one section to assault, and one in reserve. basic level shit.
- VBIED or IED or mortar any route that could be used to reinforce - i.e "What is the enemy's most dangerous course of action? Reinforcement" basic shit
- assault, fight through, exploit. Basic shit

The only difference between Egypt and the rest of these shithole countries is the ability to get significant air power there quickly. The Sinai Province had the planned effect on its target and extracted once the -16s started retaliating. There was no success for Egypt in this.

The claimed 40 IS fighters dead is also bollocks. If you're seriously telling me IS extracted 35 bodies on foot (unless their vehicles weren't destroyed as claimed) then I have news for you. The only thing that can be corroborated is the death of five IS fighters in contact and two by VBIED as shown in Morale Affairs videos and claimed by IS.

You can not excuse repeated failures to adapt to the same tactic for five years with successes that don't exist.

It is not easy to fight terrorists hiding between civilians (Ask the US, the Syrians, the Iraqis or anyone else involved in fighting this kind of war).. You just do not want to hit your own civilians..The Americans and Russian didn't care much as long as they had extracted the green light from the country they are fighting in, that is where we saw thousands of civilians killed in " collateral damage".. Egypt can not allow that..and hence the difficulty!
In this instance the militants/terrorists have used all the tactics they could..it is given that they are classical in this type of warfare, but they only succeeded in killing some soldiers and officers, they never took any army position..
By the way the count is 75 terrorists killed and 26 Egyptian soldiers killed and wounded.. I do not know if you have seen the videos of the airforce tracking and hitting many 4x4s all over the place or not, but you can see that a lot of the attackers were tracked and killed.. the 5 shown are on the spot of the attack, the rest were tracked and eliminated, since the air reinforcement came between 15 and 20 mn after the swift shoot and scoot attack..which is the main tactic used in Sinai, as opposed to the types of attacks in Syria and Iraq where the aim is to take positions from the army and expand on it to other positions..in this regard the Sinai uprising is a total failure and these attacks with big numbers of militants are desperate ones..
